We had the good fortune of connecting with Audrey Penninckx and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Audrey, what is the most important factor behind your success?
It is important for me to have a deep understanding and hands-on experience with the tool that I am offering services with to my clients. This is because, by using the tool in my own business, I am able to identify and address any issues or glitches that may arise, and make necessary improvements to ensure that it is functioning at its best. Additionally, by allocating sufficient time and attention to my own business, I am able to keep my processes running smoothly and effectively, which in turn allows me to provide a high-quality service to my clients without any disruptions. This approach helps me to build trust and credibility with my clients as they are going through my own process, and it also helps me to stay competitive in the market.

What should our readers know about your business?
Seeking stability and on-paper success, I worked in marketing at a Hubspot partner agency, and in Customer Success at a software company.

But I soon grew tired of being told what to do. I wanted to feel proud, passionate, and impressed — and I wanted the customers I interacted with to feel the same way too. Customer Experience strategy and brand-building kept me awake at night — and I couldn’t get rid of the nagging feeling that I could do better.

IMO, the corporate world could use a lesson in client experience.

Like most entrepreneurs, I started a side hustle for the sake of freedom and independence.

While I built my offers around my industry experience, I quickly realized that enrolling clients and providing a good experience were more important than simply having a skill — especially in a saturated space.

Actually, it took me getting my first client to realize I needed a CRM shortly after they said yes.

I didn’t want other people to feel what I did — sitting in front of a screen, staring at a technology you don’t get at all, stressed — even though you should be celebrating.

I wanted my clients to think, ‘I invested in the right person.’ So, I set out to ensure that competition wouldn’t drive businesses, but rather service and support would differentiate the best-in-class creatives.

Today, Acmé Studio designs, develops, and delivers demand-driving client experiences for creative entrepreneurs by putting emotion before implementation, building workflows the industry way, and ensuring an appreciation for aesthetics is always included.

I am deeply grateful to a specific Facebook group, the ‘System Expert Collaborative | Community for Workflow & System Strategists’, which has played a major role in my business journey.

This group has been an incredible resource for me because it is made up of individuals who are experts in using Dubsado The community is incredibly supportive and helpful, and the wealth of knowledge and experience among its members is unparalleled.

One of the biggest advantages of being a part of this group is that whenever I encounter a challenge or obstacle with a client, I know that I can turn to the community for help. Whether I am facing a specific issue with a client or just need some advice on how to handle a situation, I know that I can rely on the group’s members to provide valuable insights and guidance.

The willingness of the members to share their knowledge and expertise is truly remarkable, and it has helped me to improve my business processes and better serve my clients. I am grateful for the sense of community and support that this group provides.
