Meet Astonn Hart | Photographer & Creative Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Astonn Hart and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Astonn, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
For years I worked in offices pushing paperwork and never felt fulfilled and being creative is something that truly brings me peace and happiness. The true goal in life is to do something that you love so that it never feels like work and I can thankfully say I’m doing just that.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I think what sets Astonn Hart Visuals apart from other photography studios, is that we create an experience rather than just take client’s photos. I’m proud to say that we work to build close personal relationships with all of our clients and become more like family than a business arrangement. There’s a genuine respect and love between our staff and those whom hire us that I wouldn’t trade for the world! Getting to where we are today, as a company, wasn’t easy but we still have a lot more to offer. I remember some of the difficulties I would have when I first got started. Trying to convince people that you’re good at what you do without them having a lot of examples is no easy task but Luckily, I was able to convince friends and family to be apart of my artistic journey, and my portfolio grew larger and larger. Some of the most important lessons I learned during this journey was to always believe in myself and to follow my dreams. When everything is all said and done I would like the world to know that a big part of my brand is loving what I do. It’s the goal of Astonn Hart Visuals to capture all the joy and love in every shot that we take, and to make sure that every picture tells a story.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
As a small child, I lived in a neighborhood with very few children. Within our apartment complex lived a gentleman by the name of Liney Hamilton Jr. whom was a photographer. Being as I didn’t have many people my own age to hang around, our neighbors, including Liney, would often take time out of their day to teach me new things or allow me to tag along with them as they were completing various tasks. One day Liney gave me very first camera and taught me the basics. I took to taking pictures of nature typically until I got the hang of it and the rest is history. I definitely owe him much credit for introducing me to what is now my passion.
