We had the good fortune of connecting with Araceli Lopez Lamb and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Araceli, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I believe that whatever skills/talents God has given you, you can use it to help others, make an impact (your mark) in this world and provide income.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Teacher/Mentor: I worked hard to complete school despite a learning disability & other challenges. I love to counsel & mentor others and genuinely care to invest positively in life of the students I work with each day.
Health/Beauty: All things health and beauty come natural to me from healthy living, skincare and makeup and I loved sharing my skills and knowledge to others.
Handmade Uniqueness/Wedding Planner: I started my small business Creations by Celi in 2021. I make a variety of handmade items that have an earthy rustic touch. I also do wedding planning. I enjoy the process of planning all the details and supporting the bride/groom along their journey.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take my friend to a down to earth family owned/small business coffee shop and brunch on a few days. We would go to dinner to a more quiet and chill place to some healthy eats or some good Mexican food. Do some go cart racing and shooting at the range. Then take some days to adventure into Baja California for good food, site seeing, some spending and time with familia.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
God first and foremost, my parents and loved ones along the way that have supported me in words and in action.
