Meet Anna Gera | Aerial Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Anna Gera and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anna, how do you think about risk?
I believe risk taking is essential in anything worthwhile you aim to achieve. My favorite saying is ‘Risk it for the biscuit’.. It’s so true. We have to go beyond our comfort zones, and dive into the unknown to open doors to possibilities we have never even thought of before.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m originally from Budapest, Hungary. I studied architecture in college and when I relocated to Los Angeles, CA I became a licensed Realtor. My love and passion for architecture, technology and nature drove me to Aerial Photography business. As a real estate professional I realized the need for Drone footage in the industry and the so many ways you can make use of it! I immediately fall in love with the idea of creating something I can connect my creative side with the business I was in.
I think one of the biggest challenges when starting out is finding the right fit for you personally. I learned that taking risks are essential and by keeping a positive mental attitude along the the way helps you overcome challenges and gets you ready to solve the problems that may come up.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Los Angeles is my favorite city ever! It has so much to offer, all the different areas, and cuisines. During the day, I would take them for an amazing hike to the iconic Runyon Canyon or Temescal trails followed by a brunch spots int the area. Close to Runyon my favorite is BBCM and Real Food Daily. Temescal is close to Palisades Village that has many restaurant options, and also a quick healthy smoothie from Erewhon. Los Angeles also famous for all the different beaches, like Manhattan Beach, Venice Beach, Santa Monica Beach and Malibu.
At night some of my favorite places to go out are in Beverly Hills that makes you feel like you are in a movie.
On Canon Dr there is Il Pastaio an amazing Italian restaurant, followed by a wine bar called Wally’s. Also the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills hotel has a classy atmosphere and every night they have a live piano music.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My all time favorite book is by Napoleon Hill – Outwitting the Devil. It’s truly an amazing, eye opening book that helped me understand the world we live in and helped me see life from a different perspective
