Meet Angelique Beach | Luxury Organizing San Diego

We had the good fortune of connecting with Angelique Beach and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Angelique, what’s one piece of conventional advice that you disagree with?
One piece of conventional advice I disagree with is the notion that starting a business requires sacrificing your personal life and forgoing vacations or self-care. While I absolutely believe in the importance of hard work and dedication, I think the beauty of entrepreneurship lies in the flexibility it offers.
As a business owner, you have the opportunity to create your own schedule and prioritize your well-being. By taking time for yourself and recharging, you’re not just benefiting personally; you’re also positioning yourself to show up as your best self for your clients and your team. This aligns well with concepts like the four-day workweek, which emphasizes productivity through balance. Ultimately, taking care of yourself can lead to greater creativity and effectiveness in your business, proving that you don’t have to sacrifice your life to be successful.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My career in home organizing is something that I feel is becoming the new mental health trick of 2024/25 and beyond. It’s something that not everyone is familiar with but are experiencing the direct positive impacts it has on your well being. I think what sets me apart besides attention to detail, concierge, high end service, is my personality. I have a soft, warm approach, which I attribute to my background as a nurse. It’s important to show empathy and communication as well as supportive environment for my clients at a time of vulnerability.
I understand that luxury organization is about more than just aesthetics; it’s about delivering an exceptional experience. From the initial consultation to the final reveal, I ensure that every aspect of my service is tailored to meet my clients’ specific needs and preferences.
Taking the jump from a full time steady salaried job to starting your own career is challenging in and of itself. You never know when you will have business or if you will be successful. But, like the lottery, if you don’t try you’ll never have the opportunity to win. ONe of the biggest things I have learned is less is more in all aspects.
As I move forward, I want the world to know that my brand embodies compassion, precision, and luxury. I’m excited about the projects I’m currently working on, which aim to not only enhance the beauty of homes but also create a sense of peace and clarity for my clients. My goal is to inspire others to see organizing as a pathway to a more fulfilling life.
In sharing my story, I hope to encourage others to embrace their unique qualities and leverage them to make a meaningful impact in their chosen fields.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh, I love this question! Hosting out-of-town guests is one of my favorite things to do, and I’d want to show them the very best of our adorable beach town.
Day 1: Arrival and Relaxation: I’d kick off the week with a welcome dinner at one of our top local restaurants that showcase fresh, coastal cuisine. After dinner, we could enjoy a stroll along the beach to soak in the sunset.
Day 2: Fitness and exoloring: We’d start the day infrared pilates, followed by a visit to a local coffee shop to recharge. I’d take them on a nice bike ride through the town and a tour to the iconic Top Gun house and the breathtaking Meditation Gardens in Encinitas,
Day 3: Hiking Adventure: A hike along Torrey Pines would be next, where we can enjoy breathtaking coastal views and fresh air. Afterward, we’d have lunch at a charming café nearby, followed by a visit to the hang glider port for stunning views. In the evening, we could explore the local dining scene, perhaps trying a restaurant known for its farm-to-table fare.
Day 4: Beach Day Bliss This would be a full beach day! We’d lounge on the sand or swim. For dinner, a beachside restaurant with live music would be the perfect way to end a fun-filled day.
Day 5: Spa Day We’d dedicate a day to relaxation at the Rancho Valencia Spa, indulging in saunas, steam rooms, cold plunges, and a refreshing pool.
Day 6: Shopping and Sightseeing A shopping day at the beautiful UTC mall would follow, where we can browse shops and enjoy lunch at a trendy eatery.
Day 7: Farewell Brunch We’d wrap up the week with a farewell brunch in downtown San diego at a morning glory which is super quirky and has great unique dishes.
This itinerary perfectly captures the active, outdoor-friendly vibe of our area while showcasing the unique experiences that make it special. I can’t wait to share it all!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to a podcast interview that I listened to at the end of last year that truly impacted my perspective on success and fulfillment. I am still trying to retrace my steps to the exact episode (it may have been with Lewis Howse or Jay Shetty) but while I can’t recall the specific podcast, I remember the four pivotal questions: What are you good at? What do you love? What can you be paid for? And what does the world need? These questions literally changed me life because I was able to hone in on what it is I should shift my career focus to.
This interview reinforced the importance of self-awareness and the need to seek out meaningful work that resonates with both my abilities and the needs of others. It was a reminder that our paths are often shaped by the insights and encouragement we receive from various sources, whether it’s a mentor, a podcast, or a supportive community. So, I’m grateful for the wisdom shared through that discussion, as it has played a significant role in my journey.
