We had the good fortune of connecting with Alessandro Flores and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alessandro, is there something you believe many others might not?
There are many people in this world that unfortunately believe they are giving you great advice, when in reality they don’t believe in your successes the same way you do. For example, I was personally told, “”its not as easy as it looks like but just take it easy and slow. Slow is the best growth, you are growing too fast””. My path and journey as an entrepreneur is much different from every other entrepreneurs and I am sure other entrepreneurs will say the same. Although my personal standards and expectations are hight, my growth is not where I would like it to be but is growing to the point where the potential of my business and my entrepreneurship journey is reaching a point in where I have a clear shot to reaching my dreams. The key is to always be humble and to listen to others people advice, however not every piece of advice is a fit for your dreams. 

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

In the mist of being a full time athlete, full time student and having a full time job, I started my own business being an athletic clothing brand called ALPHA GOAT. ALPHA GOAT was created to inspire leadership not only inside the gym but as well as outside. Leadership is a characteristic that lacks a lot around the world. To be able to inspire leadership with your God given gift wether it is in the gym, your sport, your career, or your faith, leaders are much needed in this world. Starting this business was definitely not easy but was very doable with passion and determination. Using the only money I had to pay for my next college semester, I took a risk and invested my $300 into starting this business. My launch became successful and ever since it has grown every single day even if it is only 1%. Little did I know that taking the risk to start my business what not even the closest thing to the hardships and challenges that were waiting for me ahead. I was faced with rejections, denial, personal financial issues, loss of friendships and many more business complications. Although there has been many challenges and more to come, my passion and ambition for success in this business is pushing through any problem that I face and it is paying off. ALPHA GOAT has partnered up with multiple Crunch Franchises to be able to spread and share our gear as well as our message. Still being ALPHA GOAT’s less than a year of business, I have always put my faith on Christ, and I have been blessed enough to not only share my brand, but help those in need and giving back to the community, for they are the reason why this business is becoming successful one step at a time. 

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
San Diego has to be one of the greatest city’s in the world. There is so much to do and see in San Diego, and being born and raised here I can definitely say I have not gotten tired of this beautiful city. You cannot go to San Diego and not visit the beach. I highly recommend going to La Jolla Shores, one of the most popular beaches in San Diego. Perfect more surfing, body boarding, snorkeling, kayaking, seal watching, or even just chilling at the beach. If you like sports, we do also have a professional soccer team part of the USL. The San Diego Loyal, is a team you for sure want to watch, playing their home games at USD stadium, and we also have a women’s professional soccer team in the NWSL called the San Diego Wave playing at Snap Dragon Stadium, where you can go watch the famous Alex Morgan. 

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost, I would love to thank my lord and savior Jesus, for blessing me with the knowledge to be able to start my own business and being able to bless me with the growth of my business. There are many people who has supported me throughout my whole life in anything I pursue, my family. They have seen me grow and always support me in anything I’d like to pursue. My dad especially has given me the motivation and has turned me into the man I am today. Teaching me values a man should learn, inspiring me to start my own business and do the best I can to follow a better path than he did at a young age as well as getting a bigger head-start of becoming an entrepreneur at such a young age. Not only has my sad pushed me to be my best version of myself but also mom. She’s always there for the hardest times in my life pushing me and making me a strong man to lead by example for those who might look up to me. She’s never failed to give me advice and a mothers love to a son is something very powerful which is a huge blessing. I would also like to thank my girlfriend for always supporting and helping me in my journey of entrepreneurship. In any situation she’s always there pushing me through and helping me build my confidence that I can do anything I put my mind to. She’s been there through it all, seeing me be a teenage kid to what I am now, that is a true partner that will only grow to become something better and beautiful as each day passes by. Last but definitely not least I will always have love for the ALPHA GOAT family (supporters), they are the main reasonwhy this amazing journey has been so great and why ALPHA GOAT is growing and will continue to grow to something that I hope this world will appreciate.
