Meet Alesia Yuzhakov | Serial entrepreneur/Creative director.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Alesia Yuzhakov and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alesia, what do you attribute your success to?
The biggest factor behind my success is “Never Give Up.” I’ve started businesses five times, and not all of them were super successful. But I was always motivated by the fact that my very first business was quite successful; it sold very profitably and still exists to this day, more than 12 years later. Whenever I work on each new project, I know that it requires patience for the next 3-4 years, during which anything can happen, and it might not even succeed. I understand the outcomes; everything takes time, which is why I always try to maintain energy and tone for a longer period. The success of my current company, Beauty Code Brand, is that I am constantly improving, without stopping. It’s a photo and video studio in Sunnyvale. Every time, I add something new, I research information. I am constantly working on improving. And, of course, after 3 years, now everyone says that my studio is quite well-known, how cool the studio is, everyone is thrilled, and all the reviews are very positive.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
In my case, I have two businesses. The first is a photo-video studio in Sunnyvale that offers photo and video production services, as well as being an Event Space. We organize a creative community in the Bay Area and also strive to inspire entrepreneurs to move forward. The second business is my game, a personal project called Business Mindset. It’s a coaching game designed to inspire entrepreneurs not to give up. And it’s a my new startup. I just started it a year ago. How did I get here? Regarding my startup, Business Mindset, I came to it through my practice in business. That is, by opening, closing, selling, and moving businesses to other countries, I realized that there are certain patterns that work for me. And several times, they repeatedly worked. So, I gathered all this knowledge, these practices, and experience and turned it into a coaching practice. As for the photo-video studio, it actually develops much slower because a creative community in the Bay Area is not very popular. And I had to create it from scratch. But what exactly helped me do it? It wasn’t easy. My desire to live an interesting life. It seemed to me that I was doing it mostly for myself. I really wanted to have a cool studio where you can do many interesting, active things. Active events, workshops, seminars, meet cool people, also create new networking opportunities, grow together. In fact, it’s even, by the way, about growth. What lessons have I learned? That you today are not you yesterday, nor you a year ago, nor two. You need to always look forward and constantly ask yourself one main question. What can I do today to be happy?

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When my friends visit, the first thing I want to do is show them the Bay Area and San Francisco. We’d have a day planned out, including dining at some delicious restaurants that I’ve come to love here. Of course, I’d also show them my studio and organize an event. Maybe all my friends would come, and we’d have a joint evening. We could also drive along the Pacific Coast Highway. It’s incredibly beautiful. That’s what I love about California; no matter which direction you go, it’s beautiful, and there’s always something to do. The nature, activities, and interesting people. The people are incredibly fascinating. I’m currently studying at Stanford, and of course, I’d take them on a tour of Stanford as well.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’m truly grateful to my family for always being there for me through thick and thin. Their support means everything. My friends, too, have been incredible, walking alongside me, sharing in the ups and downs, and always pushing me forward. I also want to thank my followers for their inspiring messages that keep me going, and my teachers who’ve guided me every step of the way, helping me to reach new heights. Their belief in me lights up my path.
