A favorite quote of mine is ‘life is either an adventure or nothing at all”. I first heard this quote in one of my favorite Youtube Channels, Yes Theory, but over time I’ve noticed it everywhere I go. What’s one thing about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of? In landscape and wildlife photography, people generally don’t realize the patience it takes to get the right photograph. I recently had a photograph of a barn that I was able to capture the sun setting through the center and that was a year in the making. In general finding a place that has potential is just the start of the process, for instance getting the right weather conditions around your scene can take many attempts or just waiting on the right season that works best for the scene can take time. “I Believe in You!” When my previous husband was passing away he left me a typed page in a plastic holder. It said “To the most beautiful, most intelligent, hardest working woman in the world, love Del”. During my years as a widow, I cherished those words and it gave me strength at the hardest time of my life, when I thought I could not go on.
