Do quitters sometimes prosper?

If not giving up was always the right answer life would be so easy. History shows us that sometimes quitters prosper and sometimes they miss out. Knowing when to quit and when to keep going is one of the most difficult questions and so we asked folks we admire to tell us how they think through this question.
For me, I never think of giving up. Yes, there are days when nothing comes out right, or I have some kind of block, but I can never give up. Art is something I am compelled to do. I need to empty my brain of ideas, good or awful, so that others can get through. I can’t not create. Read more>>
Sometimes the work that we do saving cats and kittens can feel a lot like cleaning up after other people and that can be mentally and emotionally draining. The need for animal rescuers is ongoing and volunteers often find themselves feeling like the tidal wave just keeps coming and no matter what we do we cannot save them all. Read more>>
From my personal experience, if i dont feel motivated for an activity or an art piece, that I really enojyed before, it means that I have to stop. It resumes in being honest with oneself, and ask yourself if you are seeking a goal based on what you think people will accept or you are really boarding a subject that you share, with a discipline that you like.
