We had the good fortune of connecting with Catherine Spratley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Catherine, how do you define success?
To me success is achieving something you want to do, even when you’re still trying you’re best and not giving up on what you’re passionate about it. It’s important to do what makes you happy.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I started making content on social media for fun and I’ve always loved acting and I even made comedy skits when I was younger. About 3 years ago I decided to put myself out there on the internet. I took my first acting class when I was 11 and loved it ever since. What I’m most proud of is the experience I got doing acting on stage and even got an opportunity to be casted as an background extra, my dream Is to do film acting. I was working part time while also taking acting classes in college, It’s not easy. It takes a lot of work to memorize lines and learn about the characters I’m playing but this is also a hobby I love . What also makes me happy is the support I get from people on social media, my friends and family. They are the reason I keep going.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite places I love to visit and where I would take my best friend is treasure island beach in laguna beach California! It’s very beautiful and my favorite food/ hangout places are urth cafe and the glass bar in Dana point. I really love some places in LA like universal studios since I love film, also driving to see the Hollywood sign. There’s a bunch of other places that I haven’t even visited yet that’s on my bucket list.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate this to my late mother, she was passionate about the same things I am and really inspired me when I was younger, so I think she would be proud of me and what I’ve accomplished.
