Meet Gianna Sennett | Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Gianna Sennett and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Gianna, what principle do you value most?
I wanted something that I could grow into something beautiful. Something that would allow me to show my art, my passion for working with people and something I could really use to change peoples lives! I originally wanted to start something to capture the growth of my children and that quickly grew to me capturing those moment for others! Crazy to think that something like a simple photo could make sure a difference but I think there is just a bittersweet feeling to the idea that I can freeze a special moment in time for someone. I just want to make a difference in the world to be honest. After becoming a parent, everything I ever knew about life changed, and the most important thing for became leaving my mark on life, whether that’s capturing a beautiful wedding, or a kind conversation with a stranger. My first born was diagnosed with autism when he was 3 and it changed so many things for me for the better. There’s so many ways you can make a difference in the world by just being a good human. And that’s something I will always strive to be in my business.

What should our readers know about your business?
I think the thing that sets me apart from others is the experience I try to give every person. It’s not just a photo session. It’s a memory. Something that you will remember for a long time. I want people to have fun and be themselves and be comfortable. That’s when we get the best photos. With weddings I do my best to really become part of the family. Making it fun and memorable with not just my bride and groom but their friends admins family as well. That’s the most important thing to me, is giving someone the best experience they could have, with some awesome photos as the cherry on top.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m local to riverside and I think there’s literally beauty anywhere you go. One of my favorite places to shoot is my home studio cause it’s so simple and I can really let my clients” beauty do the talking! But living in Southern California, we’re spoiled with beautiful locations. From the beach, to the desert, sand dunes, or my personal favorite the mountains (big bear, ca)

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Oh wow, so many people. A huge shoutout to my husband and my family. They motivated me so much to never give up, no matter how much I wanted to at first. To all of my friends who supported my business from the start. (Especially my friend, Ryan Kalapaca who taught me almost everything I know). And to all of the amazing people and creatives I’ve met along the way. I’d love to thank all the amazing families who’ve trusted me to capture their special day or their special moments over time.
