Meet Cynthia Argumedo | Makeup Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cynthia Argumedo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cynthia, can you tell us about an impactful book you’ve read and why you liked it or what impact it had on you?
A book I’ve recently read is It’s All in your Head by Russ. I like it because he talks about how so much of us are in our own head that we get in our own way of doing things.

The impact it had on me was to literally get out of my head and just go for everything I want in life. Persistence will provided strength to keep going.Everyone needs something to believe in and that should be you.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Im a professional makeup artist. I am most proud of still being in this industry 8 years in because its not easy and its so easy to give up.I got to where I am today by not giving up, pushing myself to my limits. The people I surround myself with always believing in me.Every day is a new day to give it your all. There will be days when you love your job and there will be days were you hate it, its a rollercoaster of emotions being in this industry. Always trust your gut and do what’s best for you.

I want the world to know that if I can do it so can you.I know we hear this all the time but its true. Believe in yourself. There’s room for everyone to grow.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend is in town I would start of by exploring Temecula in a hot air balloon ride.To see all the vineyards and the beautiful sunrise.We would then go to old town explore the history all the boutiques, restaurants. We would then grab dinner at Goat and Vine. The best pizza and sandwiches in town. Next day we would grab breakfast at The New Inn, cutest hotel in the area. Every room is a different theme and has an amazing view of wine country. We would hit up Altisma Winery for taco Tuesday , they do taco Tuesday big with a live band who plays salsa music, a taco truck, rose slushies and sangrias.

Take a tour of a couple of wineries with the cutest pink car company called Mike and Wine tour.

Last day have a pool day at Bottaia Winery and of course a little more wine tasting.

To end it off we would revisit Old town for dinner at 1909.

I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my parents. For their support since the beginning of my career, for always pushing me to do my best. And always being by my side and giving me advice.
