Meet Jazzmin Gomez | Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jazzmin Gomez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jazzmin, what do you attribute your success to?
I think the most important factor behind my success is discipline, leadership and accountability. When you mix those three qualities together, there’s really nothing you can’t do. As long as you put your heart and passion into everything you will always be successful because you will always be happy doing what you love.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I think what sets my creative business styles apart from others is the passion that comes from it. I love everything I do from dancing to Photography/filmography to editing to bartending to training and everything in between. I’m a people person and family oriented so when I create anything I do, I like to put that love into it. I love getting to know people and doing things that will be special to them or touch their heart. I think that comes through a lot of everything that I do and that’s why it works. A lot a lot a lot and A LOT of discipline is needed to get where I am. On the days I wanted to quit, I would write down a list or make a promise to myself and I would make sure I did that. Quitting is never an option for me. There’s good days and there’s bad days, but when there’s bad days you should turn to the people you love, and push through it. It’s definitely not easy, but then again, it’s definitely possible!
One main thing I’ve learned while being in business is never burn bridges. It’s not only a bad look, but you never know when you and that person/business will meet again in different circumstances. Your business is a reflection of your character so you always want to leave on a good note.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was in town we would definitely hike up either in PV or Griffith Park. I would take them to iconic spots such as Venice Beach and Hollywood, but then also the popular places like Hermosa Beach and Long Beach. We would definitely go over to my parents house where there’s a barbecue, a pool, jacuzzi and good vibes. There’s a lot of rooftop bars in downtown LA so we can go barhopping and then of course the local bars that I’ve bartended at for a good time. Lastly I would throw them a welcome party with all of my amazing friends because that’s always a good time!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Starlight Productions deserves the most of the credit to all of my success. My mother actually owned and created that business and raised me through it. From this program I met my best friends, lifelong mentors and of course got to learn from my mom and dad.
