Meet Nadia Munla | Embodiment & Intimacy Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nadia Munla and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nadia, what do you attribute your success to?
I believe that the most important factor behind my success is AUTHENTICITY!
In a world where everything is presentational, the most important asset as a personal brand is truth, vulnerability and being yourself. As an Embodiment & Intimacy Coach, it is crucial that my clients feel safe and trusting in my leadership and my ability to reflect to them what is stopping them from their deepest potential and most embodied expression, If I’m not modeling that it is safe to be in your fullest expression of YOU, then why would they hire me?
And as the world becomes more and more filtered, more shiny, more photoshopped, we need to take a stand for the raw, the honest and the real. This is what I believe people are craving and missing in a world that now serves only a particular shade of reality.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m most proud of the creation of Embody by Nadia™ – a movement modality I created that allows women and women-identifying folx to explore their expression through a range of feminine archetypes.
I’m most excited to see women light up and wake up in these explorations – realizing the power in their pleasure and their play and dropping deeper in to an embodied expression of who they really are.
I’m so honored that I get to hold space for that transformation.
I also love the poetry that comes with the language cues and how every word can be beautifully placed to drop someone deeper into a sensual experience.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would start with a morning coffee at Windansea. Followed by a hike at Torrey Pines. And then tacos from The Taco Stand!
A week in San Diego cannot go by without cocktail hour at Georges in La Jolla followed by a sunset stroll at the cove.
On another day, I would venture to Encinitas to the meditation gardens followed by a meal at Nectarine Grove, making sure they get the Mexican wedding cookies!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have so many shout-outs. A big reason why I am such a successful coach is because I have had teachers, mentors and coaches who have supported my own growth.
Thank you to all my Teachers.
Thank you Nisha Moodley for teaching me how to walk my talk and lead from my soft heart with grace and integrity.
Thank you Elayne Kalila Doughty for helping me heal the Mother Wound and showing me my innate Priestess essence.
Thank you Jody England for holding my hand as I faced my deepest, darkest shadows and activated my love warrior to another level.
Thank you Terri Cole for teaching me about boundaries, ease and having a sense of humor when I would call in on shitty wifi from Thailand with roosters in the background.
Thank you Kundalini with Sheel for seducing me into Kundalini with Lana Del Ray and The Fugees and walking me to my #1 portal to God/dess.
Thank you Annie Lalla for teaching me how to champion my King and reminding me of my essence as Love.
Thank you John Wineland & Kendra Cunov for giving me the embodied tools to find safety and courage in heartbreak, over and over and over again.
And thank you Kendra for guiding me to a place of trust in myself that is deeper than I ever thought possible and for showing me a flavor of leadership that doesn’t require a shiny landing page.
Thank you Ginny Muir for allowing me to be messier and needier than I thought was possible – and still feel loveable.
Thank you Jacob Sokol for showing me that I am always capable of more.
Thank you Starr for teaching me how to use the earth to ground myself.
Thank you Jamie Jensen for modeling permission to scrap huge business investments in lieu of clear intuitive hits.
Thank you to my Embody Family of Teachers, Clients and Team. For being my love army and messengers of embodiment.
Thank you Dad for teaching me to keep going.
Thank you Mom for showing me the depth nature has to offer.
Thank you little Nadia for being an epic example of pure love and creativity.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
