We had the good fortune of connecting with Georgia Fowkes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Georgia, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I started Elation with the intent of creating unique and exciting travel experiences for both brands and creators worldwide. After traveling and creating content prior to the pandemic, it was obvious that brands, content creators, and members of the travel industry could work together in a mutually beneficial fashion – an opportunity nobody was actualizing fully.

I therefore started Elation to create a symbiotic environment for all three–content creators, brands, and members of the travel industry. By taking groups of content creators on trips around the world, it presents an exciting value proposition for both brands and members of the travel industry in the pursuit of demanding attention in the digital age.

What should our readers know about your business?
We wanted to become a brand rather than a traditional production studio because we decided to stand for something more. We stand for creating life-changing experiences. We stand for being a leader in the world of tomorrow. We stand to make happiness happen.

In terms of what we are most proud of I would say is that we get to make people happy for a living or bring someone’s happiness to life!
If we make people happy then we will become successful as a brand. Our tagline is “Happiness Happens here”. My motto growing up was ‘be happy’, follow what you love and do what you love and as long as you are happy the rest will fall into place. I think the world needs more happiness and positivity and if we are able to provide that through our brands and creators then we succeeded. We believe it is true when they say people do not remember what you did but how you made them feel. We wish to actualize this by providing life-changing experiences for brands and content creators alike.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my friends were visiting Los Angeles I would:

First take them to do all the tourist stuff first -hollywood sign, walk of fame, etc.
Then take them to do one of my favorite hikes at Runyon Canyon.
Next I would take them to Laguna beach or Newport Beach (one of my favorite places) for a cute picnic beach sunset dinner
We would go out in town to a show!
Then the next day I would do a roadtrip to Joshua tree and spend the night out there and invite a bunch of my friends from LA so we can all have a huge dinner party and fun night in the desert!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
To all my friends and family around me who push me to be the best version of myself and never telling me my crazy ideas are too crazy!
