Meet Louru | Healer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Louru and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Louru, how does your business help the community?
This question touches on the very reason I hesitated to step into this line of work. The idea of holding even a fraction of responsibility for another person’s health, well-being, and livelihood was never something I sought. But after experiencing the suicide of my ex-boyfriend, I was confronted with the undeniable truth about the importance of healing and its necessity in our world today.
I remember sitting with myself the day he passed, and in his voice, I heard him say, “Lou, you get to do this now so you can help as many people as possible not suffer the way I did.”
The impact I make may not seem large now, but healing ripples outward. Each person I support carries that transformation into their own lives, creating a domino effect that extends into their inner circle and beyond.
We live in an extraordinarily divisive world, where standing in your authenticity can feel daunting because it is often met with judgment, hatred, and negativity. While we like to believe our choices are only guided by our morals, beliefs, and values, the deeper truth is that our upbringing and unresolved trauma shapes our decisions far more than we realize. Our actions are unconsciously driven by the unmet needs and desires of our childhood. If you never felt heard as a child, you may go to great lengths to be heard as an adult. If you grew up raising your parents, you may struggle to choose yourself. If you were raised in an angry, aggressive home, you may believe that anger is the only way to feel safe and have your needs met.
This cycle creates adults who operate not from the present, but from wounds of the past. Their decisions are shaped by old pain rather than the needs of the now. This is what creates war, abuse, manipulation, disease, and both internal and external suffering. It manifests in the way individuals react to one another and, on a larger scale, fuels the hatred and division we see in the world today.
This is why I do what I do—so we can heal the wounds of our childhood, break free from these unconscious cycles, and step into an adulthood of wholeness. A life where we are fully present with ourselves, each other, and the world.
Before we become aware of this, it operates unconsciously, an unknown force shaping our actions and reactions. Through healing, we gain awareness, and with awareness comes choice. This empowers us to respond intentionally rather than react from old wounds, fostering a world of greater accountability, compassion, and love.
I offer the space people not only desire but deserve: one free of judgment, prosecution, or agenda outside of pure unconditional love. When people come to me in pain, I stand with them, supporting them to gain clarity on the root cause of their dis-ease and discomfort. I guide them through healing, clearing out that pain, and empowering them to live as unconditional love, for themselves and for others. As they embrace this transformation, they bring that love into their relationships, their communities, and beyond.
This is not just why I do what I do, but it’s how my work is changing lives, shaping communities, and, one day, shifting the world.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
From where I started to where I am now has been one heck of a journey. I never expected to run my own business or lead my own practice, so when the time came, I was completely unprepared. This led to countless hours of studying and learning the ins and outs of business and everything I would need to know to run a successful practice. At the time, I grew pretty resentful of the process because it was long and treacherous, but now, I stand in deep gratitude. Not only do I have this knowledge for myself, but I’ve also been able to guide others along their own paths to creating their own businesses.
Fortunately, once I had a solid grasp of the business side, the rest came naturally. The brand, the story, it was all rooted in the spiritual work I had already devoted my life to from a very young age. My practice is a direct reflection of who I am at my core, and the more I learned about myself, the more my practice revealed itself to me.
What makes me really proud of what I do is that I didn’t just take a few classes and collect certifications. Everything I have, everything I stand for, has been developed through an immense amount of inner work, facing the parts of my life I once wanted to keep hidden forever. As I courageously walked through the pain that kept me trapped in fear, anxiety, OCD, autoimmune conditions, and many other ailments, I emerged each time with more love for myself and greater confidence in my ability to support others.
I won’t say the process has been easy, but I would do it a million times over if it meant I could continue doing what I do. I am a terrible actress, so you’d know instantly if I were pretending to love my work or if I was faking confidence in my abilities. My authenticity is evident in how much joy it brings me to offer others healing and clarity.
I want you to know that everyone has a place in this world, and I reflect that by creating space for everyone in my practice: every age, every ethnicity, every religion, and especially every level of skepticism about this line of work. No problem is too big, too weird, too messy, or too scary to bring to me. Because I stand in unconditional love at all times, there is no judgment, only space for those who seek growth and transformation. I will only support others with their permission and their willingness to ask. I am here whenever, or if ever, you are ready for healing, and there will never be pressure to stay or go. My hope is to be like a dating app: downloaded with the intention of being deleted. I was the last person to believe in this work, but after seeing it change my life, I know it can change yours, too.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Ohhh … my first thought is Treasure Island Beach! That is my favorite beach in California. Of course followed by Laguna Beach Gelato, who could miss that! To be transparent, I am quite the homebody, so when it comes to seeing the town, I just love to drive around, especially at night, to enjoy the sights and beautiful lights of Orange County.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to start by acknowledging my mom who didn’t only introduce me to this world, but always encouraged me to do the work. She introduced me to some of the most amazing human beings that would take me under their wing, become my mentor, and show me how they do what they do. Because of them, I now get to do what I love more than anything on this planet.
There are so many healers and teachers I owe my knowledge and success to, but Shamananda Lee is who I want to shed my light on. She has been my longest and most impactful Mentor and Guru to date. She saw me at a young age as a healer and knew exactly who I was and what needed to be nurtured so I could step into that role as soon as possible. She is a Master Shaman, Spiritual Guru, and my biggest cheerleader. I couldn’t be more grateful to have her as my rock, and for her unwavering belief in me.
