Meet Blake Stoner | Business Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Blake Stoner and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Blake, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
At the end of 2021, I fully committed my life to serving Jesus Christ and gave up my desire for worldly things. Not long after, I realized I didn’t know how to share my faith with others, as we’re called to do in Matthew 28:19-20. I decided to let what I wear speak for me.
I created a hoodie with a simple message—“Jesus Loves You” on the back—and it immediately sparked conversations about my faith with friends, classmates, and even strangers. That’s when it hit me: I couldn’t be the only Christian struggling to share my faith. So, I made 10 more hoodies and started selling them. And as they say, the rest is history.
I’ve always loved graphic design, and at the time, I was in my third year of college studying digital arts. Creating these designs has allowed me to use my creativity to expand the Kingdom of God, and I couldn’t be more grateful for that opportunity!

What should our readers know about your business?
Jesus Freak Club has always been more than just a brand or selling products. From the beginning, my goal was to make it personal by showing myself instead of being a faceless company. I’ve also prioritized sharing encouraging content to help people grow in their faith.
People often ask how to grow a successful brand, and my answer is simple: make God the CEO. Every decision I make for JFC goes through Him first. Beyond that, the key factors for JFC’s success have been quality social media content, strong and consistent branding, and, most importantly, perseverance. Starting a business isn’t easy, and it definitely comes with challenges.
Right out of college, I was working a full-time 8am-5pm job, so I’d wake up three hours early to work on JFC. After clocking out at 5pm, I’d come home and keep going—packing orders, doing admin work, whatever needed to get done. I even used my lunch breaks to squeeze in more time for the brand. But it never felt like “extra work” because I was passionate about it and loved what I was doing.
The main message I want to share is this: God can use YOU. No matter how far you feel from Him or what your past looks like, He can use you for His Kingdom. I was lost—Jesus found me at my lowest. Now, I own a brand that helps others discover Him, and I’m proof that He can do the same through you.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Pearland Old Townsite is hands down my favorite part of Pearland, Texas. It’s actually where Jesus Freak Club has its physical storefront, right next to my wife’s boutique, And a Little Hope! This is the first place I’d take a friend visiting the area—it’s got such a great small-town charm.
If you follow the train tracks, you’ll find Pearland Coffee Roasters, a fantastic spot for coffee. Just next door is Central Texas BBQ, where you can grab some classic Texas-style barbecue for lunch. To wrap up the day, we’d head to my favorite dinner spot, Gringo’s Tex-Mex. It’s the perfect mix of great food and good vibes!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, all glory to God for everything Jesus Freak Club has accomplished over the past three years. This brand was born from a vision God gave me—to make Him known through JFC—and it’s been incredible to see how He’s worked through it.
I couldn’t do any of this without my wife, Hope, who’s my #1 supporter. She’s officially a 3x “Employee of the Year” (and yes, she’s the only employee, but she’s earned it!).
A huge thank you to my family, friends, and every member of the Jesus Freak Club who shares the same mission: to spread the Word of Jesus as far and wide as possible. Together, we’re making it happen!
