Meet Terapon Thitathan | Mobile food vendor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Terapon Thitathan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Terapon, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When it comes to food I figured well, people have to eat everyday so it was a no brainer when it came time to start my own business.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I sell a traditional dessert from Thailand called mango sticky rice. What sets me apart is how accessible my product is to the masses and how easy it is to eat while enjoying the festivities i serve my food in cups for easy portability.
I’ve learned alot about my product through the years I’ve tweaked changed my recipe to perfection I’d say based on customer reviews.
Couples lessons learn would be to just focus on one thing and do it well kinda like the success of “in n out” burgers you can have many variations around one product so that’s what I did.
I’d love the world or in this case Americans to know how good and delicious thai food is not that it wasn’t already good to begin with.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’d definitely take them to the night market that I’m a vendor at plenty of food and culture to go round. Also beaches and piers are always nice to walk around to.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My father and mother.
