We had the good fortune of connecting with Justin Hunt and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Justin, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
As a personal trainer and health coach my business helps the community and world, by promoting health and wellness.
Enhancing mental health, regular physical activity is linked to improved mental health, by reducing aniexty, stress and depression.
Building a Community with supportive environment, encouraging social connections and mutual motivation.
Education and awareness as well as encouraging an active lifestyle.
Preventing Chronic Diseases, By promoting healthier lifestyle it can help reduce the risk of chronic illnesses, ultimately lowering healthcare costs for the community.
Overall, my business contributes significantly to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and fostering a healthier, more vibrant community.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I believe what sets me apart in this fitness and health arena is my passion. Passion to continue to learn and grow, I try to bring the best experience to all of my clients at regardless of their fitness level.
I also believe the love and passion that i have for health and fitness allows me to standout. After graduating grad school and moving home, i dealt with a major setback that lead to me changing my career path. After being caught up in some
Unfortunate situations, lack luster jobs just to pay the bills. I was led to fitness health arena. Going into business for myself was one of the scariest things i have done. And i truly believe it was ment to be, all hurldes i faced lead me to the path I’m currently on. When you’re living in your purpose it never feels like work.
What i learned along the way is that what god has for you no man can stop that.
My motto is train like your life depends on it. Health and fitness has impacted my life physically and mentally and that’s why i try to share that with world.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Definitely first and foremost we are definitely hitting the beach. Ocean beach for the wings at noodle house. Also love Pb for some day drinking, the night there is for the young kids lol. Living in San Diego that is one of the best things about the city. That and definitely our taco shops, i live in north park so Colimas is my go too!
Love the north park area so definitely would bounce around to some of my favorites spots, like fat boys for their sandwiches. Blue foot for their music and drinks, true north for the games. And definitely lafeyette for the pool and dope ambiance. Also laylahs jamican spot by the navy base. Honestly there’s so much to do in San Diego from hiking to surfing or taking little drive and hit the sand for some four wheelers in Mexico. The main reason i absolutely love my city!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Well first and foremost God! If it wasn’t for the lord i would be absolutely NOTHING!
Also my daughter and grand daughter, starting and running a business is beyond stressful! There has been so many times I’ve wanted to give up, and then remember who i am doing this for and who looks up to me.
Also Dorian (Dc athletics), for giving me the space and opportunity to train with likeminded individuals.
And also i can’t forget my friend’s family and clients that have trusted me with their health and fitness journey. I am truly grateful for them
