Meet Dr. Angela Todd | COO, Psychologist, & Novelist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Angela Todd and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dr. Angela, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Factors for success can vary from person to person and brand to brand, almost like a fingerprint. The key to my success has been determination. There have been challenges and times when things didn’t look promising, but my determination kept me moving forward. I treated each difficulty as an opportunity to learn and grow, which only strengthened my resolve to succeed. My determination has not only helped me overcome obstacles but also shaped the identity of my brand. Ultimately, it’s the persistence to keep going, regardless of the circumstances, that has led me to where I am today.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
One aspect that distinguishes Creative Global Branding from other firms or agencies is our genuine investment in people and their dreams. This core foundational principle is exemplified both personally and professionally by the dynamic CEO couple, Melissa LeEllen and Jesse Biondi. Their infectious positivity and unwavering ambition fuel a desire to uplift others, extending from our clients to our staff and interns. At Creative Global Branding, our internship program is specifically designed to provide opportunities for individuals who may have been overlooked or underestimated, allowing them to gain valuable experience in the marketing industry and cultivate their careers. We foster an environment that is not only encouraging and uplifting but also supportive, ensuring that everyone has the chance to thrive. It is this truly innovative mentality and approach to the work environment that sets Creative Global Branding apart from any other agency out there.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would have to say that my favorite local place would be McIntosh Reserve Park. It is a natural wildlife reserve and park area about 20 minutes from my home. My son and I like to go there and hike when the weather is nice. After a nice morning hike, finding lunch at any spot downtown Carrollton is always a good idea. One of our favorite places to go is the Corner Cafe, which has been around since I was a teenager. For our family, it’s about enjoying the simple things in life.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There have been a lot of people in my life who have helped me in many ways. But, my son, Jack, has been the most influential person. He has been the driving force that consistently pushes me to be a better version of myself. In his eyes, I see the reflection of who I’ve become and who I strive to be. His kindness and empathy for others have taught me more than I could ever hope to teach him. His authenticity challenges me daily, reminding me of the importance of living true to oneself. At times, it feels like he’s the one mentoring me, offering insights that are both profound and humbling. Jack’s influence has shaped me profoundly, and I am a better person for having had the opportunity to be his mother and watch him grow into the phenomenal human being he is becoming.
