Meet Linda Nuanlaoong | Owner of A+ Montri Auto Repair

We had the good fortune of connecting with Linda Nuanlaoong and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Linda, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor to my success is my commitment to my family and our client’s to continue our family’s legacy of integrity, no matter what the economic climate, advances in automotive technology, or market pressures. I also carry my father’s commitment of customer and employee safety and supporting the local community.
I’ve used my customer service skills I learned from working in the music industry to provide customized and elite level quality for reasonable prices to my clientele.
What should our readers know about your business?
My father started his own auto repair business with the idea of maintaining integrity and building relationships with clients, while focusing on safety for our clients and employees. I strive to continue that same mission. No matter who you are or what kind of car you drive. We can provide you with a great experience. I have utilized a lot of what I have learned from my father in continuing to run my business successfully. It was challenging in the beginning when I took over the business, which is mostly male dominated.
My family and I are passionate about cars and this role allows me to work everyday in that area. We employ amazing mechanics, and I get to be involved with the diagnostics and customer service aspects on a daily basis. I go to the shop everyday knowing I am continuing my family’s legacy.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would first start off by taking my best friend to the The Arboretum in Arcadia, CA, where we can check out the botanical gardens and the peacocks. We would then go have some Japanese food at my favorite restaurant, Sushi Kiyosuzu, where I have been going for over 20 years. We would then go to the Santa Anita Race Track to check out the horse races and take a tour of the race track. Next, we would then check out the Huntington Library and Botanical Garden in San Marino, and the Norton Simon Musuem in Pasadena, and walk around Old Town Pasadena and grab lunch. Later in the week, we would go drive down to Malibu and down PCH.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate a shoutout to mom and my dad for their support and love they have shown me my whole life. Without them, I wouldn’t be the person I am a today, which is a successful, happy, and proud woman running her own business. I would also like to thank all my friends and especially, Valerie Poirier for nominating me and always being a supportive friend.
