Meet Ka$h Kyle | Music Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ka$h Kyle and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ka$h, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I think that taking risks is extremely important to get what you want in life and be fulfilled, no matter who you are and what you do. It’s really easy to get caught up in societal pressures and take the “safe” choice, I feel like a lot of people give up on their dreams and passions because of this. I believe you have to take a leap of faith and do what you truly enjoy. In my life, taking risks has led me to find what my true purpose in life is, which is sharing my music with other people.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I think what sets me apart from my other artists is my versatility and ability to explore different sounds. The majority of my current discography I have out right now leans towards a more melodic rap sound, but I’ve also released alternative rock, house, and even pop songs. My latest release “Prom Queen” is a song I’ve been sitting on for nearly 2 years that I’m super excited to finally have out, it’s a 90s inspired pop rock song that really showcases my versatility. All my friends that I’ve showed it to since making it have said how easily it gets stuck in their head and how much they like the shift in style, so I’m glad to be able to share it.
To get to where I am today professionally took a lot of practice, hard work, and failure. But failure isn’t a bad thing, every time things don’t go the way you want them to it’s an opportunity learn a valuable lesson that will help you in the future. The biggest lesson I’ve learned along the way is that the only way to guarantee you won’t get you want in life is to give up. If you really believe in your goals and never stop working towards them, it has to happen eventually. I’ve also learned the importance of staying present and doing things because you love and enjoy it, not because of what you’ll get out of it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in LA, been here for a little over 2 years now. I would definitely take my friend to my favorite restaurant Dan Sung Sa, which is a Korean tapas style place in K Town. Amazing food and an unmatched vibe. I’d also take them thrifting at either the Silver Lake flea market or the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, basically any time I buy clothes I get them at one of those two places. I’d also probably take them to some of my favorite bars in the area, including No Vacancy and Apt 200.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shout out my sister Kayleen and my best friend Mac, who have both been there since the start of my music journey and always showed me support even when most other people weren’t.
