Meet Tarah Belle | Human Design Reader

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tarah Belle and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tarah, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Well I have always thrived in structured workplaces with a schedule and boss (which you won’t hear most entrepreneurs say).
BUT I travel a lot. In the years leading up to me starting my business, I worked a seasonal job 6 months of the year so that I could travel the other 6.
I always knew that I wanted to have something that I could do anywhere, and I also started to really crave a new kind of accomplishment – to work on something that I created myself and have full control and responsibility over.
As I became more and more interested and educated in Human Design, it naturally became clear that this was my path to creating my own business that I could bring anywhere with me and take on the challenge of creating something of my own.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’ve always been an artist soul bringing art into everything I do wether it be work, school sports, fun. I grew up as a competitive athlete (biathlon) and throughout the years somehow gathered team members to create and perform choreographed dances at events (this was never a part of my sport) but it became tradition.
I was always in the drama programs at school, loving being on stage and acting.
Early in life I began taking photos, videos, editing, and taught myself how to work with these tools to digitally express myself. I then studied Broadcasting in University where I specialized in creative writing and production for TV and Radio, hoping to work in documentaries one day.
I’m saying all of this to point to the fact that I use all of these skills and assets I have always leaned into in my current business. I call instagram and TikTok my office because this is where I run my business from. I’m constantly showing up live, creating videos, designing educational posts, and performing and creating in so many ways. I use all of my own photography and editing, digital art, and that alone sets me apart from most people.
Although my work itself is categorized more as “Self-Discovery” and education, I call myself an artist. Everything I do is art from the way I show up, to the way I interpret and present someones story through their Human Design chart reading.
My whole journey has been experimental, experiential, and of course not always easy. I really have never had any idea of where exactly I am going or how I’m going to get there, but I have always trusted in myself in the moment to just go where feels good. I really don’t put much pressure on myself to achieve anything in particular, but to commit to always growing and learning in some form or another.
Sometimes this feels like pure chaos, uncertainty, and doubt, but ultimately always leads to adventure, discovery, and fulfillment.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in Sayulita Mexico. Its a vibrant little beach and surf town which has become incredibly popular with expats and tourists.
When people come to visit, we are always getting our first meal at Matiz to have fish tacos and tuna tostadas. We have to spend some time at the beach and swim in the ocean – depending on the tide navigating the waves can be a lot of fun. There are a few more secluded beaches nearby that we take day trips or hikes to to enjoy even better sunsets and time away from phone service – but I’ll keep those secret for now.
Everyone should take a surf lesson at least once and try and get out there to connect with nature in a way they likely haven’t before! A day trip to La Lancha is my favorite.
Every Wednesday evening I go to a group meditation on the beach and I will bring you with me.
The nightlife is fun, a night of watching Pug Band is ESSENTIAL to anyone who loves live music.
Taking day trips to San Pancho and Lo De Marcos are great, theres so much to explore and the beaches are beautiful.
I spend most of my days working from home, a cafe, a friends house, or the beach, and then working out at Sayulita Fit or running through the jungle. Sunsets with friends on the beach, sharing good meals, getting together for dance parties, and taking advantage of the different workshops and events always happening (sometimes running my own)!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Ra Uru Hu for Starting the Human Design System, and Richard Rudd for starting the Gene Keys and continuing to teach me in new and wonderful ays.
