Meet Ady Napalm | Nail tech/nail artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ady Napalm and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ady, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to have more freedom in life. I worked schedules I didn’t like for a very long time. Some days, I felt like I hadn’t been home in a while because my schedule was so hectic. Working a hectic schedule and having a family was tough for me. I always wanted to be home with my family. I felt like I was missing out on things with my kids.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a nail tech/nail artist.. I am proud of the growth I’ve made over the last year. I’m excited to see where I’ll be around this time next year. I spent a lot of time researching, learning and practicing. It wasn’t easy. At one point, I thought it would take me years to accomplish some of my goals. Along the way, I’ve learned that when you’re patient and work hard at what you want, you can achieve anything. I’ve also learned how to be humble with my achievements. I’d want the world to know that it’s more than just nails when you’re in my chair!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would definitely take my best friend to Las Cuatro Milpas. We would go to a lot of local restaurants actually. We’d stroll around Old Town and pick up some candy after eating at the cafe. Seaport village is a must as well!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My kids, my boyfriend and my best friend. They encourage me and they’ve been a big support during my career change.
