Well like a lot of people I had to work on the side as a student, Gave me lots of various experiences and most of the time it was fine but I knew I couldn t really work as an employee. Then 9 years ago I started my carreer as a Tattoo Artist, and that was ticking every box for me. I always had a passion and love for cooking, hosting and entertaining. In recent years, I began creating charcuterie boards when family and friends came for dinner. Their excitement over these boards was ultimately the springboard that inspired me to take the risk and start a business. I opened Guru Tattoo‘s first location 20 years ago this November. At the time I was working alone in a private studio. I thought this was my dream! However, after working alone for a couple of years I realized the importance of being around other talented creative people. Right around this time a friend of mine, who had purchased a building to open a restaurant, ran into some problems and needed to rent it out.
