The Risk Series: how do you think about risk?

Risk is the most common topic that comes up in our conversations with entrepreneurs and so each week we ask entrepreneurs to talk to us on the record about how they think about risk.

Taking risks has been a constant in our business from our inception in 2009 until now. While the circus arts is inatley about taking risks both physically and mentally it also exits in directing the company. Since we are in such a niche industry there was no data readily available to understand the scope of interest for the general public to take circus classes. Risk makes us or breaks us. Without taking risks, I couldn’t get out of my comfort zone. If I don’t get out of my comfort zone, then I’ll be the same person without growth. That’s something I don’t want. When it comes to photography and content creation, clients’ styles, trends, and preferences change, so I need to constantly learn. Read more>>

Risk-taking can be a scary concept for many people, especially when it comes to making big decisions that significantly impact one’s life. As someone who has gone through this journey, I have learned to embrace risks and see them as opportunities. Read more>>

Taking risks is the only way to move forward in life. Period. If you stay in your comfort zone your whole life, you won’t grow as an individual. Always moving forward is the key to life, always be on the lookout to expand your horizons. Never leave a stone unturned. Always ask people for help, they can be the key. Read more>>
Risk is important and is navigated by fear, it is the second step after making a decision and the only way to achieving your goals. In my life I have designed my mindset to chasing the sensation of fear which leads to high risk situations, where personally I find a mixture of failure and success. Read more>>
