Hi Yolanda, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
My plan is to be a celebrity Makeup Artist/Special FX Artist and Hair Stylist.
By the end of my professional career, as a beautician, I plan to join the union, as a Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist.
Bellus Academy Beauty School taught me well about hair color, hair cutting, makeup, Special FX. I had a very good hair cutting teacher, named Manny, (Man) and really good Makeup Artist teacher named, Ms. Sonia Tobar.
California Hair Design beauty Academy School, taught me well about salon business, sanitation, hair color, salon professionalism. My teachers were also amazing, Mr. Paul, is great with hair cuts, working well under pressure, patient, creative, kind, excellent teacher, professional, Ms. Blaire was very sweet, kind, creative with hair styles and Ms. Teri is very structured, organized, creative.
All my teachers had one thing in common, their passion for beauty, love for art, very creative.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take my best friend to visit my favorite restaurants with me, The Cheese cake factory, Eddie V’s restaurant, The Mission restaurant, theme parks, Disney Land, Art Museums, the beach, shopping centers, etc.
I like to be anywhere where I can feel and see the water, the beautiful sun, mother nature, entertainment, get a drink or coffee with me, watch a movie and dance.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
