We had the good fortune of connecting with Wayne D Burdette Jr and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Wayne D, how do you think about risk?
Prior to certain events that took place in my life, I never considered rick at all. I just went out and went after any goal or dream that I set my mind to or my heart was telling me to try and accomplish. For example, in 1998/1999, I went out at the age of 26 and decided that I was going to attempt to purchase a NASCAR Race Team. The team raced along side the greats of Dale Earnhardt, Jeff Gordon, Bill Elliot, and Tony Stewart to name a few. Well, after 6 months and investing over.4 million dollars of my families money that was never recuperated I walked away from NASCAR and now I have to sat that taking risk has a very different meaning. I think a little more about the risk and potential harm it can do and then make calculated choices in life and business.

What should our readers know about your business?
I own Infinity Enterprises & Holdings, which is a management company that oversees and manages all the other businesses that I currently own and operate with my partners including Carolina Enterprises & Holdings. These businesses include several entertainment companies that are in the entertainment industry, scuba diving industry, podcast, motorsports teams and more.

The majority of these businesses were not at all easy to get involved in and still to this day there are challenges we face every day. For example, I have a award wining script that I would love to get an actor like Ryan Reynolds or Patrick Dempsey involved in but emails just go unanswered and you know it would be an amazing if not award winning movie but it is challenging to get responses. We have learned to adapt and overcome and the incredible talent that is involved in the projects work their hearts out and I could not be more proud to work with a great bunch of individuals on the team.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
So, for me I am just actually looking at the San Diego area so I would have to research these things or utilize individuals that have lived there for a while now. I have heard that the Zoo is awesome and I am sure there are amazing places to see and eat at and would love to come be treated on a trip around the city and two of my upcoming VLOGs that we are launching would be incredible for my host to explore and film in San Diego.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would have to say that my late dad who died this past November and my mother deserve a lot of credit for the person that I am today. There are certainly others that I am so appreciative of for all the words of encouragement.
