Meet Viridiana Rosas | Founder & CEO, Everest Janitorial Inc.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Viridiana Rosas and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Viridiana, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
The most significant decision I ever made was to leave my old job and start a new business. I had to be sure that my new business would generate enough income to cover all my expenses, including vacations and retirement. I had to build a network of clients and partners and learn new skills to grow my business. It was tough, but now my business is my primary source of income, and it covers all my expenses. I feel proud of what I’ve accomplished.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am a big fan of the ocean and anything related to the beach. If I had to show someone around San Diego, I would take them to Coronado Island and the iconic Hotel Del. We would definitely have to go on a kayak tour of the La Jolla caves, take a stroll through Mission Beach, visit the Cabrillo National Monument, and go on a hike to Torrey Pines.
For nightlife, we would head to the Gaslamp Quarter and hop around different bars on Fifth Avenue. Some of my personal favorites include Cafe Sevilla for tapas and live music during the week. I would also take them to salsa lessons at Cielo Rooftop on Fifth Avenue.
For meals, we could do breakfast and lunch at Cocina de Barrio for delicious Mexican food. For dinner, I would recommend either Il Fornaio for Italian food in either Coronado or Del Mar, which both offer beautiful sunset views. Other places to visit include the outlets in Carlsbad and the Botanical Gardens in Encinitas. There is so much to see and explore in San Diego, it would be impossible to fit it all in just one week…
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Cecile Fernandez, our women’s life group leader at church, deserves recognition for her unwavering love and support.
