We had the good fortune of connecting with Thomas Stanley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Thomas, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I pursued the artistic path toward photography and evidently going into film editing because growing up I have always had a keen eye on images or anywhere I am. To be quite frank I was like a walking camera lens cause I always want to have that right angle rather if I shoot with my camera or do video editing. When I was growing up most of my life I have always used art as an escape on everyday life when I was working or attending college. When it has been stressful I used my camera or my laptop to express myself in digital art in photography.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
When I started my photography business, it was at first as a hobby but throughout time I see myself becoming more dived in to the digital photography industry and can see myself having fun on this adventure. With me, I don’t like to rush things cause with photography you don’t want to rush things and potentially ruin that perfect moment for the occasion if it’s a wedding or family portrait that could last an eternity. It wasn’t an easy path in the beginning cause my age and it was the beginning of the Covid crisis. I had to look at this at another angle and where I need to improve or aim my services at a different market group. I would at some occasions that I would thought if this is the right path for me to take. It wasn’t until in April 2022 that I was involved in photography collaboration where I met awesome people like myself who love photography as much as I do. After that it became a clear choice to pursue this path in photography.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Growing up I have always gone to the Oceanside pier where there’s not much tourists around and admire the view of the top gun house, end of the pier, maybe grab a bite to eat at the local restaurant under the pier where they make this really good fish and chips that have this red vinegar cole slaw.
