Meet Stacy and Al Delcome | Business owner & escape room enthusiast

We had the good fortune of connecting with Stacy and Al Delcome and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Stacy and Al, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
We generally just wanted to bring escape rooms and the fun it intel’s to families, couples, and business corporations. As enthusiasts ourselves we definitely saw a need for these kind of fun activities that encourage people of all ages to step outside their norm and experience something mind blowing.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We started out in the haunt industry, having a home based haunt for 3 years and growing it very successful, unfortunately covid 19 made it hard for us to continue so we turned our creative image to Escape room designing. We hand build all props according to our unique theming, which is all based around easter eggs such as family members and childhood memories. When creating puzzles and flow of a room it makes it easy when you’re passionate and just love what you are doing.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well we would of course cram in as many escape rooms as we possibly can in the area such as (starting with our room) Confusion Escapes off waterman in San Bernardino, then making our way to Hall of Shadows, then stopping for lunch at Mr. Taco, before heading over to Build a Scoop for some ice-cream desserts.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We would like to thank the whole escape room community as a whole, A special thank you to Ryan from Hall of Shadows for helping us along the way as well as giving us very useful pointers with puzzle flow, safety regulations and encouragement to keep going.
