We had the good fortune of connecting with Sophia Weller and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sophia, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
When I welcomed my little bundle of joy into the world, my work-life balance took a dramatic shift. Suddenly, it wasn’t just me and my workload anymore – there was a tiny human relying on me, and with that came a whole new set of responsibilities. I’ve always been someone who strives to push their limits and see what they are capable of. So, when the idea of starting my own business emerged, I knew I had to carefully consider how it would fit into my new life as a mother.

Creating a harmonious balance between my business and parenting became my top priority. I wanted to ensure that I could give my baby the love and attention he deserved while also pursuing my entrepreneurial dreams. It hasn’t been an easy journey, but I’m incredibly proud to say that I’ve succeeded in finding that balance- most of the time!

To make the most of each day, I strategically tackle the majority of my workload while my little one takes a nap. This way, when he’s awake, I can dedicate my undivided attention to him. Being a mother will always remain my number one priority, and I strive to embody this in all aspects of my work. It’s not just a motto, but also the foundation of my brand at All Things Mom Marketing.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
There are countless marketing companies out there, but what sets me apart is my unique focus on helping moms. I have tailored my brand’s mission around empowering moms like myself to achieve success. I take great pride in the fact that I have already made a positive difference in the lives of numerous mothers, whether it’s by helping them start something new or taking their existing businesses to new heights. I am thrilled to continue growing this community of incredible mothers and explore the possibilities ahead of us.

Drawing from my extensive background in marketing, operations management, financial advisement, and sales, I have amalgamated my expertise to create and expand All Things Mom Marketing. Of course, every business encounters challenges and growing pains, but at the end of the day, I am grateful to be pursuing a profession that I am passionate about. All Things Mom Marketing is truly a welcoming space where all moms can come together and be part of a supportive community. Here, they can find inspiration, discover valuable tips and tricks, and explore the possibilities of starting something from scratch or growing their existing businesses that they adore.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Although I’m originally from Maryland, Orange County has completely stolen my heart. It’s such an amazing place! If I were to play tour guide, I would absolutely take my guests to explore the fantastic shopping malls we have here, like Spectrum Center, South Coast, Fashion Island, and many more. Who doesn’t love to shop, right? And when it comes to dining, I have a few favorite restaurants that I think are just incredible. For an upscale meal, I recommend Javiers and Water Grill, but sometimes it’s great to relax and just order some takeout. In that case, California Fish Grill is the perfect spot. If we’re looking for a bit of a party atmosphere, Mesa is absolutely fantastic! I always like to infuse some outdoor adventures into the mix, too. Orange county has some of the most beautiful beaches and hiking trails around, and I’m an avid outdoorsy person. It’s amazing how each city in Orange County has its own unique feel. There’s always something new to explore, and I jump at the opportunity to try different experiences.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
In my journey to building a successful business, I am immensely grateful for the unwavering support of my significant other. His presence has been the cornerstone of my achievements, consistently by my side and working tirelessly. I can confidently say that I would not be where I am today without his constant encouragement and belief in me. He not only pushes me to be better and strive for greatness, but he also excels as a devoted parent and an incredibly supportive spouse. His extensive knowledge in the business world is a constant source of inspiration, and I couldn’t be more proud of his countless accomplishments.

Another person who holds a significant place in my heart is my mother. From a young age, I witnessed her fearlessly conquer the financial world, earning her spot amongst the top 50 financial advisors in the country. I have fond memories of accompanying her to client appointments, eagerly helping with sales, promotions, and mailings. Participating in these activities ignited my passion and desire to follow in her footsteps. Looking back, I recognize how she instilled in me a strong-willed, determined, and entrepreneurial spirit that has played an instrumental role in my own success.
