We had the good fortune of connecting with Shelley Rike Warde and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Shelley, what principle do you value most?
Unconditional Love. We are all unconditional love at the core of who we are. This is what interconnects us. When we soften barriers of vulnerability and open our heart is when the vibration of who we are in essence permeates our life. Living in alignment with the vibration of who we are attracts all the possibilities into living our dreams true. Effortlessly. When we open our heart to ourselves on the inside, our perception of ourselves and others changes to see the beauty, live in our full potential and support others around us to do the same. Just by being ourselves. We are all unconditional love at our core, we just have to remember and remind each other of this value we all are.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I fall in love with every flower that blooms on our farm. I feel them bring out the innate love in my soul to watch them open. Some flowers bow their heads just before they make their big entrance to the world. They are so vibrantly humble. I love how flowers bring us connection to ourselves and each other. They bring so much light. What did you feel the last time someone brought you flowers?
The journey of making Flower Essences and Botanical Perfumes has taught me a language that my body and soul speak. A language of vibration that validates all the feelings and states of consciousness that there are no words to describe. A language the mind does not need to understand but the body and soul speak. By experiencing the vibrational medicine of the Flower Essence collections I have created, I have awoken to other abilities and possibilities. I am honored that I get to design & create Flower Essence Collections for other businesses around the globe. My journey of making Flower Essences started as a Craniosacral Therapist, Nutritionist and Pilates Instructor. I learned to understand as much as I could about living in a body. What all the feelings and vibrations of being human felt like. I had to understand all these vibrations to be able to make the essences that support us in all that it entails to be human. It is holistic. Flowers have taught me to see the bigger picture of life. To see root causes of issues and align to the solutions. The Flower Essences bring to our attention what is out of alignment within our soul so we can tend to what is really important within us. After a few years of making Flower Essences, I became inspired to make Botanical Perfumes, which is a deeper understanding of the language of scent. Scent takes you on a joinery to remember. To remember who you are in essence. I love making Signature Perfumes to support each individual in remembrance of soul. I recently developed a kit that can be sent to anywhere around the globe that takes you through creating a signature scent for yourself. I think back to when I first started working with the flowers in my yard. I was in such a tough spot in life and had the inspiration to work with what I have. I made my first Collection of flower Essences and felt the flowers bring light into my darkness. They continue to bring the light, especially in the current times. I have realized that we already have everything we need to live our full expression in front of us. We just have to soften and receive it. We are currently farming fresh cut flowers on our farm in Bonsall. I would have never imagined the reality we live now and that I get to tend to the flowers we grow for all the essences, perfume ingredients, and local fresh cut flowers. My morning coffee routine is to forage my fields for favorites and arrange them. It is pretty dreamy to start my day in such beauty.
Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
There is so much to explore here on our Flower Farm. I love taking my friends to see all the blooms. In the summer we pick fresh fruit off the trees and eat it while it is still warm from the sun. It all tastes like pie. I love to harvest ingredients from our garden and cook together. Lately, I have been gathering and making zucchini noodle pesto, lemon cucumber greek salads, kale salads with beets and tahini dressing and I am just awaiting our Tomatillos to be ready for Enchilada sauce! Enjoying a blood orange margarita and dinner on the back deck into the evening when the owls come out, then the moon and the stars. We love going to the beach! Our favorite surf spots are in Encinitas. We pack a picnic and spend the day. Oceanside Harbour beaches are super fun and we can grab fresh local halibut from the Fish Market as we head home for fresh fish tacos! We love dining at Campfire in Carlsbad and Harlow’s right here in the old club house in Bonsall.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The recipients of my work. My circle. The universe. My family & friends trusting my always reinventing of self in each moment. My Dad told me I would have to work for myself when I grew up. He was correct and supported me to follow my heart to study all the Holistic Modalities, learn all that I could about the human body, business, and what makes me happy. He supported me starting my own business at 19. He still supports my always evolving reinvention of self on our ‘Daily Dad’ calls. My Mom, Husband, Son and Brother have always been my cheerleaders. They each have always encouraged me to go further when I couldn’t see how. They can see what I can not and show me in such a loving way. My friends. They put up with all my questions. I ask in curiosity not meaning to disrupt anything out of alignment but that is just who I am. My girlfriends are incredible. I have been so lucky along the way to have so many mentors. Mentors that have become my friends and family. I am so grateful that I continue to allow myself to always receive support. I am so grateful that I have remembered to feel into the interconnectedness of all of us. I thank us. All of us. Thank YOU.
