We had the good fortune of connecting with Scott thompson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Scott, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have always been an artist. The concept of “the rat race” has always been unattractive to me. Since a kid I was always an entrepreneur at heart and have always wanted to be in control of my time and creative decisions. So when I turned 24 I launched my first business and have never looked back.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I run a creative production house https://dreamvision.media where we specialize in brand building for artists. We provide many services that center around content creation. Everything from video content , graphic design, writing services all to help our clients tell their unique stories. Everything from editorial blogs, commercials and billboards.

Not only do we strive to make visually amazing content but also content that preforms and gives our clients a high ROI.

From my many years of running multi million dollar brands , I understand the importance of ROI in creative work. Many artists just focus on the artistic side without understanding business fundamentals, which is critical to integrate into campaigns because resources are your bloodline in business. I help many of my clients not only create their creative assets , but also how to put them together into a cohesive campaign that will help communicate their message to the customer. Which really is about making creative assets that get conversions.

I got to where I am at today from working a lot, and never giving up. I have a strong desire to learn and although I am an expert I prefer to have the mindset of a student, always learning something new. I have been working 10-14 hour days for probably 18 years. However I love what I do so I don’t feel like its a bad thing.

The road has not been easy, I have taken many losses and had to overcome many challenges, but as I look back the hard work has only taught me what is realistic to win in business. You have to be a full time savage. There is definitely some luck that you have to get in the game of life and i’ve been blessed to get my share.

I want the world to know if they hire DREAMVISION MEDIA, are hiring someone with over 20 years of creative experience who lives to create art. Not only have I created a lot of products in different industries, but I have been lucky enough to run a few multi million dollar companies to success, so I understand what it takes to make content that insures top performance and long term success for my clients.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well Im a beach lover so wed probably go to La Jolla for some body surfing, hang out at the beach all day then get some rolled tacos. I keep it simple. Maybe hit a film festival and end it off with dinner at Mr A’s . I love that place

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would not be where I am today if it were not for all the creatives that have helped me along the way. My friends and family have always been a huge support for me doing what I love for a living. One of the most impactful books in my life was the alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I have had many mentors over my years that believed in me and helped me to better myself.
