Meet Sarita Buer | Soul-Care, Mindset & Empowerment Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sarita Buer and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sarita, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
Deciding to work for myself was a huge pivotal moment in my life and changed the course of my life forever. What I didn’t know when I initially jumped into entrepreneurship is how closely my mindset and even more so my healing are so deeply intertwined. It wasn’t until close to 9 months into my entrepreneurship journey that covid hit, which like many people, forced me to go inward and evaluate myself as a person and how I was showing up. I had taken so much of what I learned from my corporate days, the masculine energy, into my work as an entrepreneur and it didn’t become long sustaining. I felt I was operating the same exact way I was before when I was an employee; everything I had tried to get away from. It wasn’t until I chose to get ride of these beliefs and systems within that were in place that change stated to occur. I strongly believe the choice to let go of what no longer served me has been the key to my success. It was the choice or decision to stop using the old formula in the new level of my life. That choice to be intently open to grow has been the single most important decision that has contributed to my success.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others is my personal story and how I got to where I am because of it. I was adopted from El Salvador at the age of 3 and was raised in the midwest by a single mother who is of a different race than me. Growing up as a Latina Transracial Adoptee has brought about lot of searching outside of myself for answers. After becoming and entrepreneur and being dedicated to my healing I saw that it was not outside I should be looking but inside. This unfortunately is a common shared experience amongst women so i have dedicated my business to helping women get self-connected on a deeper level through a blend of mindset work and healing. My unique approach of this blend is new to the healing spaces because my experience has given me one or the other. I believe that knowledge is power however embodiment is transformational. Embodiment is the harmony of heart, body and mind, the full human experience and one cannot live without the other.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live in San Diego, a pretty marvelous place to live and in a community by the sea called Ocean Beach. I would recommend we start out here in the Ocean Beach area walking down Newport looking at the antique shops and boutiques. Next I would recommend some food at Wonderland with the perfect view of the ocean. Taking them to Balboa Park is a must as it is full of museums, gardens and green spaces. I love going to show them Chicano Park, it has such history of the Mexican-American community here in San Diego, and so many tourists don’t know about it. A visit in San Diego is never done without going to Coronado, the island where you can walk on the nice sandy beach right in from of the iconic Hotel Del Coronado., plus they have the best ice cream shop as well.. In the afternoon evening I would go to Torrey Pines Gliderport to see the sunset on the magical day.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to recognize Harry Lopez the creator of Launch Latinx as a huge impactor in my life to help me not only build my business but help me reclaim the women I know has been waiting inside for me to discover her. If it wasn’t being part of his program Launch Latinx in October 2020 I would not be where I am now.
