We had the good fortune of connecting with Sarah King and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sarah, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I have always loved to work with my hands. I enjoy expressing myself through Art. Art is not only a visual stimulant, but it is emotional, it can be treated like a therapy in itself. which is perhaps why I have stuck with being an Artist and Art school business owner. I love all the facets it has to offer.

What should our readers know about your business?
The King Art Studio is truly the only studio of its kind. It is an art school dedicated to kids, teens, and adults. What makes us so different is we have an individualized curriculum per person, since not all artists are on the same path. We also use traditional and new age techniques. While offering many more courses than the average school.

We not only teach painting and drawing,
But we teach: graphic design, animation, cartooning, sculpture, photography, media production.
We work with kids as young as 4 years old all the way up to adults.
Fostering the creative energy in our Nevada location, but also across the country!
We specialize in online classes as well, where students can learn via face to face over Skype or FaceTime, etc.

Our brand has been ever growing and we intend to keep up with what is new, while also teaching traditional too. One must be able to adapt to challenges and new ideas. Our studio does just that.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
At least in Las Vegas, I would recommend A day at the Arts district, where you can browse local and international art.
Have a bite to eat at Herbs and Rye, the best happy hour in the planet, exceptional cocktails.
I would then say take a trip to Smith Center to catch a Broadway show and really see the Nevada has more than bright lights and sun city. It has been growing the last 5-8 years.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to shout out to my staff and teachers at the The King Art Studio. Without them, we could not do what we love and impact so many young minds.
