We had the good fortune of connecting with Sandra Denise and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sandra, what do you attribute your success to?
Desire. I live a desire led life. A really strong desire for more is my fuel, my north star.
More connection, more love, more fun, more experiences, more abundance, more expansion, more freedom.
It makes me committed to stay on the path when it gets difficult, it supports me in staying on the path, desire is what makes me create, show up and to not give up.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I coach women into becoming liberated and free, in their sexuality, how they live their lives and in business/money.
I run a “turned on business” which is what sets it apart from others. This comes back to desires and that I only follow what turns me on, what makes me excited, what feels fun, aligned. I make sure I invite pleasure into my daily life and buisness. It’s my number 1 priority to fill my own cup first and to feel good. From there I get to create and be of service. The difficult part of running a buisness in this way is the constant focus on inner work, of reprogramming what society and culture has told you it “should” look like. To re-wire your brain and nervous system into that it’s safe to not be Doing all of the time, that we are already worthy of it all just by being. This doesn’t mean we don’t take action, of course we do, but we take desire based- aligned action vs “hustling” just to hustle. What I’ve learned a long the way is that it’s working even when it doesn’t look like it, so when you feel like you want to give up, DON’T, things are lining up for you “back stage”, you just can’t see it yet. Keep going, keep showing up, don’t listen to your brain when it’s says it’s too hard, it’s too much, that you can’t do it anymore. There will be challenges for sure, life happens, it’s about mastering being with these difficult, scary emotions too. I actually never ever thought I would run my own business, it was never in the cards for me, I was working as a nurse and when I first started my business my desire was just to make 5 k month, and that felt like a lot to me. It was not in my world that 10k months or anything above that was even possible. Now I run a 6 figure a year business. The more I have worked on expanding my mindset and “thinking outside the box”. the more I have come to realise that there are infinite possibilities and that there is no end to what we can achieve
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Honestly, I would just take them to little Italy and I would stroll around eating at all my favourite places and watch all the beautiful streets and buildings.
My favourite places are:
– Herb and Wood (both the café and the restaurant/bar, I love to sit in the bar and have fun conversations with the bartenders here)
– Bird rock coffee bar for a great coffee and some work from le computer
– Ironside fish and oyster for the best lobster roll ever, basically all of their food is to die for.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a shout out to Layla Martin for introducing me to the path of pleasure.
