Hi Sandey, what principle do you value most?
The principle of precision and the value of human connection mean the most to me. Together, they fuel my creativity and dedication in designing lashes and brows with perfection, making each client feel confident and beautiful.

Precision is the cornerstone of my craft. As someone who thrives on accuracy, I believe that even the smallest details matter. Whether shaping brows to frame a face or designing lashes to enhance natural beauty, every stroke or placement requires an unwavering commitment to perfection. Precision allows me to deliver consistent results that not only meet but exceed expectations, reflecting my pride in my work.

Equally important to me is the value of human connection. Being a people person, I cherish the relationships I build with my clients. Understanding their preferences, listening to their stories, and ensuring their comfort are essential parts of my creative process. This connection goes beyond technique—it’s about creating a positive experience that makes them feel valued and cared for.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My passion for aesthetics and health began early, driving me to help others look and feel their best.
I hold a bachelor of science degree in Alternative Medicine, I began my career as a holistic health practitioner before transitioning into aesthetics, earning my esthetician license in 2001 and advanced lash certification from Novalash. I was one of the early lash extension specialists in Southern California, founding Lashes by Sandey in San Diego in 2009 and opening a second location in Newport Beach in 2011.

I began my career as an esthetician and few years later fell in love with lash extensions. I started by getting certified and remember training daily to be able to offer it to my clients. Through hard work and perseverance I was fortunate to build a clientele very quickly. My business skyrocketed as I rode the lash salon wave for nearly a decade..

I am committed to providing high-quality lash and brow services, as well as mentoring estheticians and cosmetologists. My personalized coaching sessions give beauty professionals the tools to stay competitive, master the latest techniques, and grow their careers.

A believer in balance and living in the moment, I appreciate the simple joys of life while striving to inspire confidence and beauty in my clients and mentees.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I truly love living in Newport Beach, CA. There’s nothing better than taking walks along the beach or enjoying a sunny lunch at Lido or on the bay. Fashion Island is one of my favorite spots, with its stunning walkways, fantastic restaurants, and unique shops. For dining, I adore Oceans 48 and RH. Another passion of mine is exploring the majestic Back Bay on peaceful nature walks—it’s the perfect escape to recharge and connect with the beauty around me.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am deeply grateful to my family and teachers for their unwavering encouragement and for sharing with me the tools to succeed. They have shaped me into the person I am today by offering guidance, support, and inspiration every step of the way.

My family has been my greatest source of strength, teaching me the importance of hard work, resilience, and kindness. Their belief in me has given me the confidence to chase my dreams, even when the path seemed uncertain. They’ve reminded me that success is not just about achieving goals but also about staying grounded and true to my values.

My teachers have been equally impactful, igniting my curiosity and pushing me to grow beyond my limits. They have not only imparted knowledge but also taught me how to think critically, adapt, and persevere. Their lessons extend far beyond the classroom, leaving me with skills and wisdom that will serve me for a lifetime.
