Meet Rossan Banner | Wedding Content Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rossan Banner and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rossan, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Honestly, it all started with seeing a real gap in the wedding industry. So many couples would pour their hearts into planning this once-in-a-lifetime day, and yet the little, in-between moments—the ones that felt the most real—were getting lost. I wanted to change that.
I started Bridal Content Besties because I believed couples deserved more than just posed photos or highlight videos. I wanted to give them the candid, behind-the-scenes magic that felt authentic—the moments they’d actually want to share the next morning, without waiting weeks for edited photos or videos. The idea was to be the vendor you didn’t know you needed but were so glad you had.
It wasn’t just about starting a business. It was about creating an experience, one that’s fun, supportive, and makes your wedding feel even more memorable. And I wanted to build something that genuinely helped couples relive the magic their way.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m most proud of the connections I’ve built and the love I’ve had the privilege to capture in such a short time in this industry. Every couple who trusted me to document their day, every tearful first look, every dance floor moment—I don’t take any of it for granted. Being invited into such an intimate part of someone’s wedding day is something I’ll never stop feeling grateful for.
Starting my business wasn’t easy. I came into this with no background in business, no connections, and no roadmap. I had to build everything from scratch—learning, networking, and putting myself out there every single day. It was scary, and it was overwhelming at times. But I kept showing up because I genuinely love what I do. And over time, people started to see that passion. That’s what grew the brand.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that consistency, heart, and hustle matter. When you pour love into your work, people notice. And when you’re aligned with your purpose, opportunities start to find you.
What I want the world to know is that Bridal Content Besties isn’t just about content—it’s about connection. It’s about helping couples relive the most magical day of their lives in a way that feels real, raw, and them. This business was built from scratch, but it’s rooted in purpose, and I’m just getting started.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh I love this question! I’m a big believer in balance, so my perfect week with my best friend would be a mix of movement, chill time, and making memories in all my favorite San Diego spots.
We’d start our mornings early—I’m definitely an early bird! I’d book us a few different fitness classes through ClassPass. I’m obsessed with The Sculpt Room and Activate House, so we’d start our days with a little Pilates, good music, and a sweat. After that? Coffee, obviously.
Then I’d take them to the San Diego Zoo—I have an annual pass and it never gets old. It’s world-renowned for a reason, and it’s just such a fun way to spend a few hours walking, talking, and taking cute photos. After that, we’d head to Torrey Pines for a hike by the beach or maybe just hang in La Jolla with coffee and brunch while watching people surf. Chill vibes only.
Sunsets? You know we’re going to Sunset Cliffs. I always keep a beach towel in my car just in case, and nothing beats watching the sky change colors with a burrito in hand. Pacific Beach is another favorite for casual walks and people-watching by the water.
At night, I love a fun speakeasy. We’d hit Raised by Wolves or Part Time Lover for cocktails and good conversation. And for something a little different, maybe a cute day trip to Julian for a cozy mountain-town vibe and (of course) apple pie.
San Diego really has it all—ocean, mountains, city energy, and laid-back pockets. It’s the perfect mix for a week of memories.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
On top of all the amazing couples who’ve trusted me to be part of one of the biggest days of their lives—and the incredible wedding vendors who’ve supported me along the way—I want to give a special shoutout to my husband, Bryce Banner.
He’s been my biggest support throughout this entire journey. From cheering me on during late-night edits to believing in my vision even when it was just an idea, he’s been right there with me. We always joke that he’s the original “bestie” in Bridal Content Besties, and honestly, it’s true. His understanding, encouragement, and constant love have meant the world, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without him.
