We had the good fortune of connecting with Rob Fury and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rob, we’d love to hear what makes you happy.
As an entertainer what makes me happy is after a performance or being on set to see the smiles on peoples faces. That means so much. To bring out an emotion from someone (mostly joy) that I feel is what made a me happy. Making the world a little brighter one laugh at a time.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My journey started off as a cosplayer in 2014 in chicago illinois. I was so passionate about cosplay and the geek so I formed the cosplay group the Age of the Geeks where within a year we became a very well known cosplay group in Chicago throwing and hosting pop culture events in the Chicago area. Later expanded to Orlando. From there I was able to start hosting and organizing cosplay contests and expanding my performing credits. By 2017 I was able to get into the acting agency Lily’s Talent to formally start my acting career. Landing a few nationwide commercials and before leaving finishing my the project that gave me SAG eligibility. Now I am in Los Angeles as a hard working actor. Working in the entertainment industry for the premier virtual celebrity autograph company Streamily.com as well as bolstering my resume with getting back into Brazilian JuJitsu and finishing a final run as a Professional Wrestler. I am currently in a resurgence in my life and the Age of Fury is upon us.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite spots in Los Angeles have been hanging out in North Hollywood checking out the fun and chill bars out there. My favorite El Tejano for their bomb frozen Margaritas.

If we are looking nightlife would mind going dancing at 1oak or the bungalow in Santa Monica.

On the weekend we can hit up the beaches in Santa Monica or Venice. Or head to the valley and shot some archery or take a cool hike.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
