We had the good fortune of connecting with Richard Morrison, Marcus Kowalsky, Damian Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Richard Morrison, Marcus Kowalsky, Damian Williams, why did you pursue a creative career?
Collectively, we weren’t fans of the notion that you have to move into an entertainment hub such as New York or Los Angeles in order to be successful within the entertainment industry. This inspired us to want to help cultivate our local scene, as well as uplift local talent. Artists are often pressured to compromise their vision, and we wanted to offer a space for them to remain true to their voice, while having access to the industry-standard tools and support.

What should our readers know about your business?
Our motto is Artist First Always, and working with us will make that adamantly clear; from a responsive Outreach Team to state-of-the-art, quality tools and equipment, we strive to never disappoint. Earlier this year, we held our first major event called MAYDAY, a EDM-centric concert. It was an opportunity for us to highlight San Diego talent and create a platform to promote their success! It wasn’t easy, as it was a new learning experience for us. We were hit with unexpected setbacks that we had to adapt and overcome. By the end, it resulted in a great turnout and an unforgettable experience for all attendees!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
San Diego is known for its amazing food culture. From Convoy to Chula Vista, there’s a wonderful variety to explore. One place that’s a must-visit is Ortiz’s Taco Shop in Point Loma, they easily have the best California burrito in the state.

For sightseeing, a staple of the city is Balboa Park. It’s rich in the history of San Diego’s founding and serves as a hub for many of our museums.

When it comes to nightlife, Downtown San Diego and North Park are your go-to spots if you want to spice up your evening, offering vibrant energy and great drinks.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We would love to give a special shoutout to our mentors, Demi Woodson, Tony Arrington, and Dale Keano. Without their support and guidance, we wouldn’t be where we are today; they’ve been truly invaluable.
