Meet Rhiannon Franz

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rhiannon Franz and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rhiannon, how does your business help the community?
The social impact of my work is simple but powerful: I help ex-corporate professionals—especially women—step back into their power.
There’s a real sense of aging out of corporate. Women feel it the most, but men do too. One day you’re leading major projects, managing teams, making big decisions. The next, you’re suddenly “too experienced” or quietly pushed aside. And yet, the expertise we’ve built is invaluable.
What I do is help high-achieving, ex-corporate executives turn that expertise into premium personal brands and high-ticket offers. I help them own their worth, build real wealth, and show up as leaders in a way that actually aligns with their values and lifestyle.
This isn’t just branding. It’s economic empowerment. It’s gender equity. It’s redefining success for people who were never meant to stay small.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I spent over 20 years in advertising, climbing the ladder and earning the titles. It was a grind. It wasn’t easy. And no matter how far I climbed, it never felt like enough.
After a series of events, including having a baby in 2020, losing a freelance contract at a top holding company, and landing four final-round interviews for SVP-level roles with no offers, I had a moment of clarity. I wanted out of corporate. I wanted more freedom. I wanted control over my pricing. And I needed a new way to package and present myself.
Corporate taught us how to perform, not how to package. We are trained to think in hourly rates and job titles, not in offers and value.
Now, my work is about shifting that mindset. I help ex-corporate executives fix that. But I go deeper than branding. I help them monetize.
I show my clients how to turn their expertise into scalable service packages. I teach them how to price like premium professionals and position themselves as the obvious choice.
Making the shift was not easy, but it was the best decision for me and my family. Now I help others build a personal brand, package and position themselves for profit, and finally get visible so they can earn what they truly deserve.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When my best friend comes to Southern California, there is no shortage of things to do, especially right here in Los Angeles.
I live in the Beach Cities, so we always start with a day at Hermosa Beach. We stroll the pier, grab a drink and some appetizers at Surfer Girl inside the Sea Sprite Inn, then stop by Curious…Still Curious for a little shopping. I always say hi to my favorite barber, Talbot, in the back.
I’m a Manhattan Beach Girl. Dinner at Slay is a must, and if we are feeling it, we head to the after-hours spot in the back for a little dancing and late-night fun.
I am also a big fan of Downtown LA. I can spend an entire day there visiting The Broad, having lunch at Stecca, and finishing the night with dinner at Redbird. It is one of my favorite ways to experience the city.
One hidden gem I always recommend is the Marina del Rey Water Taxi. For just one dollar, you can ride around the marina, hop off for lunch at SALT, enjoy live music at Fisherman’s Village, and have dinner at the Ritz-Carlton.
And of course, we cannot skip the iconic LA stops like Mann’s Chinese Theatre, hiking to the Hollywood sign, shopping on Melrose, visiting The Getty, and people-watching on Rodeo Drive.
You could easily spend a full week just exploring my favorite city in the world. Whether you call it Los Angeles, LA, or the City of Stars, this place has my heart.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a shoutout to the advertising world of Los Angeles—my Ad Family.
There’s a deep-rooted community here, especially within ThinkLA and AAF LA, and I’m proud to be a part of it. As much as corporate America can wear you down, it’s also what built me into the expert I am today. I cut my teeth in this industry. I grew up professionally alongside some of the smartest, scrappiest, most creative people I know.
Over the last 20+ years, I’ve worked with people who became more than colleagues. They became my community. We’ve been in the trenches together—pitching, producing, pushing through chaos—and we came out the other side stronger. That bond is real. You can’t always explain it, but if you’ve been there, you know.
They taught me how to build networks that don’t just open doors—they hold each other up. Even when things get hard. Especially when they get hard.
So to my LA Ad family—thank you. You’re a big part of my story, and I carry that with me in everything I build today.
