Hi Rachelle, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my brand is originality. I strive to help bring your ideas to life to create something meaningful. Whether it’s a memorandum or an “I thought you’d like it” gift, we can create anything to your heart’s desire.

My brand is not only about gifting; it’s also about bringing a personal touch to your event. My experience working with weddings and events has allowed me to work with different types of aesthetics. I have created everything from boho to minimalistic. Staying true to my brand identity has become one of the many aspects I am proud of.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I created my business to serve as a space where we work together to bring your ideas to life. From drawing portraits of your favorite moments to making eco-friendly personalized drinkware, I assure you that you are in good hands. When it comes to color combinations and aesthetics or themes, the possibilities are endless. At Lettering by Rachelle, there is no set vibe; we chose to be neutral, so as a client, you are the splash of color here!

My business has now evolved into a more personable experience. At first, I began creating graduation cap toppers for my friends and me. Fast forward to now, I am producing various personalized items, like custom drinkware, Christmas ornaments, and home decor (to name a few).

Getting to where I am now has been challenging. As time passes, I’m still learning a lot about running a business while maintaining a social media presence and a life outside my office space. In our society today, it is difficult not to compare yourself to someone else. I learned to remain faithful to my brand identity and focus on what works for my business. I knew that no matter how successful someone may appear,
their personality matters most. Your character sets you apart from others and will shine through when meeting new people.

I want the world to know that you can achieve your dreams if you stay true to yourself. There is no such thing as a mistake; there are only lessons we can learn from.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Being in Socal, there is a wide variety of food spots and photo opportunity places. On the weekends, multiple pop-up shops and farmer’s markets are nearby. You can grabsome food at local markets and see different types of vendors. What I like about these events is that they are family-friendly and open to the public. Markets usually have activities for kids, a variety of food vendors, and many shops to shop with. There is always something for everyone at these events.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I wish to thank every friend and family member who has supported me. My family plays a significant role in my business. My parents help behind the scenes and keep me in check when I work on orders late in the day. I would also like to recognize my sister for helping me with bouncing ideas. She is usually the one who hears things first. Through word of mouth, I’ve created items that have reached all over the country (some overseas, too!). Creating my online store has connected me with people worldwide who have supported my business. My business wouldn’t be what it is without the support of my family, close friends, and community.
