Meet Rachael Louis | Life and Career Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rachael Louis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rachael, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My journey to H.O.P.E. Career Coaching started when I entered the leadership role as a supervisor, and one of my essential roles was coaching and developing my employees. Coaching has been a part of my career for the last ten years. It is rewarding because it allows me to impact others and witness their growth. One of the main challenges I faced was coaching sales performances versus coaching in real-life situations. I decided to pursue my passion and take a leap of faith to open a company to create my platform. The thought process behind starting my business is to have a company where I can sell confidence, faith, hope, and motivation to my clients.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
H.O.P.E. Career Coaching L.L.C. is a career coaching company dedicated to helping outstanding professionals excel. The name H.O.P.E. signifies the importance of believing anything is possible. We believe in helping others to become the best version of themselves. Our approach to coaching focuses on the individual’s mental well-being and ensuring the career best fits their skill sets. Everyone was born with a unique God-given talent, and we work to help discover their greatness through effective coaching—the passion for seeing others succeed in life. We understand our purpose is to serve others.
I want the world to know there is hope for a bright future. It does not matter where you came from; it is all about where you are going. Everyone has a story but remember that you control every detail of your life. Your voice is the loudest voice you will ever hear. Be very careful of what you say to yourself. Make sure you speak life into every situation.
Here is my story: I AM…
Coach Rachael Louis was born in the Bronx, New York. I lived in Jamaica for ten years, then relocated to South Florida. I’m open to relocating to another state or even country, but not sure where.
First Generation graduate: This is HUGE. Because both my mom and dad dropped out of school. I am the first person in my family to obtain a college degree. Blessed: I am a woman of Faith. I know without God, my life would have been a total wreck. My favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Married: Yes, I’ve been happily married for 14 years. My husband and I got married six months after meeting each other. Yes, we have our ups and downs, but we are one team in the end. Talk about Faith!! God is at the center of our marriage.
Mom: I am honored to be a boy mom of two handsome boys. I pray that they will grow up to be productive members of society.
Survivor: I was born three months early and given a slim chance of survival to live everyday life. I survived two horrible hurricanes (Gilbert in Jamaica and Andrew in Florida). I survived a robbery at one of my previous jobs where I ran out of my shoes to safety. God had a different plan for my life.
Healed: I struggled for years with unforgiveness, hurts, pain, sadness, anxiety, insecurities, and more. I received help through counseling, therapy, and of course, prayer. I understood this was not normal, and I could no longer live my life in such a dark place.
Confident: I am confident in who I am. Yes, I am. Finding me took years of soul searching, but I love myself.
Imperfect: Yes, I can admit it. For years, I was chasing perfection. I realized it does not exist. I am open to making mistakes, especially when I learn from them.
Passionate: My husband may say I am too emotional sometimes. This passion has allowed me to serve others well. I genuinely like to love to see others win. I am cheering for your success.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Welcome to South Florida, where you get to live your best life. Pack your beach attire, snacks, water, and suntan lotions in the daytime to head to Hollywood Beach. This is a family-friendly environment where you can relax and enjoy the smooth sound of the ocean. For dinner time, I’ll recommend my favorite restaurant Truluck in West palm beach. The food is fantastic. Keep room for dessert as the carrot cake is so delicious. It’s time to head out to southwest Florida to Naples for their amazing beaches. I enjoy going to the beach; Can’t you tell?! The food is terrific in Naples; pick any restaurant, and you will not be disappointed. The following day I’ll recommend you to Disney World. Be prepared to get your steps in; I mean over 10,000 steps, so please wear comfortable shoes. I feel like a kid every time we visit this place. For brunch, my favorite spot is Shooters Waterfront in Fort Lauderdale. Be sure to sit outside, enjoy the scenery, and soak in the sun. We cannot forget dinner; Let’s do seafood at Rustic Inn. EVERYTHING on the menu is excellent.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I dedicate this shout-out to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! As a woman of faith, I know this accomplishment will not be possible without having faith in God. All of us are best with a gift from God. Some people find that gift, while others spend their entire lives searching for this gift. I am blessed to find and operate within my life’s purpose. To my family, “The guy’s Jack, Jahan, and Noah,” I love you so much. Thank you for your love and support throughout this journey. Remember to always give your best and forget the rest! Louis family ROCK!
H.O.P.E Career Coaching success wouldn’t be possible without my inner circle of cheerleader’s love and support. To my parents, sisters, and brothers, both near and far, thank you for the encouragement; it only took me six years, but God’s timing is perfect. To my Brown family, thank you guys for supporting my wildest dream. Thanks for always being a phone call away and answering my calls, even if it’s to say “how is the business going? Thank you for your prayers and voicemails! Always letting me know everything is going to be just fine.
To my mentors, Tom, Javier, and Bill, this would not be possible without you guys. Tom, thanks for seeing so much more in me than I saw in myself. Yes, I am officially doing GREAT! Javier, It’s the faith for me. Thanks for continuously speaking greatness over my life. Your words mean so much to me. Bill, thank you for your YES to my mentorship request as my career coaching. Thank you for taking a chance on my wildest dream. Thank you for faithfully showing up each week and teaching me your successful playbook. I am forever grateful!
