We had the good fortune of connecting with Paola Lopez-Garibay and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Paola, what do you want your legacy to be?
Carbon Aesthetics was created with my father at heart. My father passed away 3 years ago. And he always had the best greeting, the loudest laugh, and the best outlook in life. My father was a jeweler in Houston Tx. He was one of the hardest workers in his industry and had the heart of gold. He would befriend every person he would encounter and keep his word and every promise. The purpose of Carbon Aesthetics is just that. To enhance, refine and polish an individual from the inside out. Continuing the legacy my father left behind. Connecting with every person that crosses our path. Keeping our promise to serve and enhance each individuals beauty just like the creation of a Diamond.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Building a business begins with a dream. and grows with passion. Therefore Carbon Aesthetics is a growing business: Forever Evolving to better assist an individuals needs. Providing Confidence, Beauty and Strength.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If you are looking for a staycation in Oceanside, you must check out Ty’s Burger House on Mission Ave. They serve the best Lamb, yes I said Lamb Burger I have ever had! Want to see some amazing oceanviews? Take a bike ride alongside Coast HWY and make a stop at The Seabird Hotel! They have a rooftop bar overlooking Oceanside Pier. Still have energy? Make a stop at the Oceanside Harbor, were you can rent Jet Skis, Powerboats and Paddle Boats and get the best sunset views!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Life is full of choices. Throughout my life choices I have come across many talented people who have mentored me and now have become a part of my story. From amazing individuals such as Louis Uridel and IFBB PRO Sabrina Taylor owner of Metroflex Oceanside, CA. Kelly and Brooklyn Cardenas Owners of The Kelly Cardenas Salon in Carlsbad CA. Audra and Todd Wise owner of Color Pop Salon in Spring, TX. Gary and Laurie Spellman owner of UltimateFace Cosmetics in Austin, TX. My Brother in law, Tyler Whitiker and my sister Andrea Lopez. My Husband, Jaime Garibay, for being the greatest supporter of all my dreams and ambitions. And last and most importantly my parents. Monica Arroyo and Alex Lopez. Together they molded me into the person I am today. morals, standards, and have always proven to me that love is the answer to all. And to all the people I have had encountered, and have created memories with a thank you is not enough. I remember every face, every smile, every hello, every story and that is the true gain of it all. the friendships created.
