We had the good fortune of connecting with Patricia Fulps and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Patricia, what is the most important factor behind your success?
We at A Sweet Memory, strive to be great at what we do. Not only providing a fun experience, but quality photos a beautiful set-up and amazing customer service. Time and time again, we hear how easy we are to work with, how accommodating we are and how much fun everyone is having at our booth. The most important factor behind our success is the loyalty we have from our clients. Most of our events come from referrals or repeat clients, because they know we can be depended on to ensure their guests have an amazing time at their event.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
A Sweet Memory Photo Booth was established in 2015. Being in the wedding industry as a wedding coordinator, I had seen a few good photo booths, but I had also seen a lot of bad ones! My husband James and I started by purchasing an enclosed photo booth. There was a lot of learning to do! From learning the best camera settings, to graphic and website design to even learning how to create some amazing custom props. 7 years later we have 5 booths, including a roaming booth and open air photo stations. This is our only business, not a hobby for extra money. We are not a cheap photo booth company to hire just to say you had a photo booth there. Our prices are higher than the average, maybe.

We strive to give amazing customer service and a great time at our booth. We will help you pose, hand you props and we make sure you take a great pic. Did I tell you we make sure everyone in the photo gets a print? Everyone in the photo gets a print. Our clients love the online gallery that is uploaded immediately during the event, no more having to provide a phone number or email to get digitals copies. Our galleries don’t expire either your photos will always be there.

Our clients also love that we give them the full size digital of all the individual photos along with the digital print. We can even password protect your gallery as well. The slideshow! If you have a screen at your venue that you will be using, we can also add a slideshow of all the photos running thru. As soon as someone sees themselves on the big screen, we get even busier. Here’s the thing, there are a lot of photo booth companies, but no other company has us!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Being in Orange County, we have so much to do! A favorite thing for us to do is walk along Main street, in Seal Beach. Not only is it a great walk on the pier, there are some great restaurants as well. We love live music, some great places to go check out bands are SeaLegs on the Beach, in Huntington Beach, as well as Neptune’s. When it’s football season, you will probably find us at Harbour Rack House in Huntington Beach. They have a lot of screens, billiards, great drink selection and fantastic food.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband James is the one I want to dedicate this shout out to. Without him as my partner in life and business, I don’t think we would be as successful as we are. We started our business in 2015, 30 days into our marriage, after I completed successful treatments for breast cancer. He works on the financial side of the business as well as manages our equipment and is also, as he likes to be called, the camera man. He provides me with infinite guidance and support; we just work really well together. He makes sure I don’t spend all of our money on props and backdrops (haha)!
