Meet Paola Castro | CEO & Dancer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Paola Castro and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Paola, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I started Todosx because I saw how overwhelmed dance studio directors were trying to manage class logistics, team rosters, and payments—usually across spreadsheets, texts, and Instagram DMs. I wanted to create something that took the admin off their plate so they could focus on what they love: building community and creating powerful, joyful spaces through dance.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Todosx is a platform built specifically for the dance community. It helps studios manage subscriptions for classes and teams, automatically creating live rosters based on who’s paid. Directors get a clear monthly financial report that breaks down revenue by service—something that’s often hard to track manually.
But what makes Todosx really special is that it’s not just helpful for directors—it’s a great experience for dancers too. The app becomes a little home for them. They can see their teams, track their subscriptions, and feel part of something real. That sense of connection is core to what we’re building.
Getting here took persistence. We didn’t have a playbook—we built by listening to what dance directors actually needed and improving the product week by week. There were plenty of challenges along the way, but every time we stayed close to our customers, we found the right path forward.
If there’s one thing we want people to know about Todosx, it’s that we’re building with care. We believe admin tools can feel human, that financial clarity can be empowering, and that dancers deserve the same thoughtful technology that other industries take for granted.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
🏄 Morning – Surf at Pipes
Start the day with a sunrise surf session at Pipes in Encinitas. It’s one of Paola’s favorite spots—uncrowded, mellow, and full of local energy. Just good waves and good vibes.
☕ Late Morning – Coffee at Caféina
Post-surf coffee at Caféina Café in City Heights. A cozy, community-rooted spot with rich drinks and a welcoming atmosphere—perfect for recharging.
🍍 Midday – Snack at Açaí Carioca
Swing by Açaí Carioca in Pacific Beach for a vibrant Brazilian bowl. Light, nourishing, and full of flavor—ideal after a salty morning and a strong coffee.
🎨 Afternoon – Urban Stroll in North Park
Head to North Park for an artsy, urban walk. Explore local murals, browse indie shops like Verbatim Books and Simply Local, and soak in the creative pulse of the neighborhood.
🍣 Early Dinner – SoCal Sushi
Grab dinner at SoCal Sushi in Normal Heights. Unfussy and delicious—one of those neighborhood gems you always want to share with someone visiting.
💃 Evening – Dancing at El Flow
Close the day at El Flow Dance Studio. Whether it’s salsa, bachata, or just vibing with the community, it’s the perfect way to end a day rooted in movement, joy, and connection.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
