Hi Oddity Odysseys, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
If the process stops being rewarding, it’s time to rethink—not quit, but recalibrate. We know to keep going when the making of our content feels as meaningful as the video itself—when curiosity, exploration, and discovery are still alive behind the scenes. If the journey doesn’t excite us, the final product won’t either. The moment the process becomes empty is the moment to pause, adjust course, and find the Oddity again.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Oddity Odysseys is, at its core, a passion project—one built on curiosity, storytelling, and a love for exploring the strange and unexpected. The two of us started the channel on a whim, and we’re still here over a decade later. What sets our work apart is that we’re not chasing trends; we’re focused on crafting videos that feel intentional and immersive. We believe quality always outlasts quantity, so every full episode we release is something we’ve taken the time to shape, refine, and truly stand behind.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If we ever have visitors, we love taking them to Garden Cafe in Sherman Oaks, The Last Bookstore in Downtown Los Angeles, to check out the secret elevator in the Hollywood Hills, and a hike by the LA-96 missile site
