We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Figueroa and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, how do you think about risk?
Risk; “ a situation involving exposure to danger”

That’s what we’re taught, right? That any kind of risk you take, you could be exposed to danger.

But for me, risk is all about growth. Whether it’s a learning situation or a next step up in your story.

Taking risks creates a mindset of determination, and the more risks you take, the more “comfortable” you become making decisions.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
As a Personal Coach, I do more than just “physically” train my clients. I really study their mindset and help them develop a stronger mentality. I’ve been a Personal Trainer for over 7 years now. It wasn’t until I got my first mentor almost 3 years ago, that I knew I wanted to become more of a Mindset Development Coach. I strongly believe being able to conquer your mindset and developing a stronger sense of “inner voice” helps lead you to ultimate success.
I have learned a lot over the course of years, one of the main things I’ve learned was creating amazing relationships with my clients. I believe that building trust is one of the strongest things you need in life and I will always live up to that.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my friends/family were to come visit me, I would immediately take them to Sunset Cliffs to watch the sunset. I do believe San Diego has the best sunsets.

I am also a HUGE foodie and San Diego has opened my pallet to experiencing new food. Some of my favorite restaurants;
Ramen; Tajima
Italian; Nonnas in Little Italy
Thai; The Nood Bar

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The first person who pops in my mind is my girlfriend. Haley has always been so interested in what I do since we met. We sat and talked over coffee for hours about business, marketing, sales, etc. Her wisdom has helped me excelled in different parts of my life. I really appreciate her feedback and take it. She’s my partner in so many things:)
