We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Crocker and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I had helped my husband grow his companies from the ground up and they had become very successful multi-million dollar companies. When we reached 8 figures, he no longer wanted to grow his companies any larger, I found myself coming to the realization I needed something to do if he retired (I am 7 years younger than him). I knew I wanted to help other entrepreneurs reach their goals so I conceptualized a marketing and advertising agency that provides affordable marketing and advertising services to startups and established companies throughout the United States.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Luckily for me, there are not many people who can say they have 27 years of experience in sales, marketing, and advertising within the construction industry. I fell in love with the industry when I was just 18 years old and then found my role a few years later. As a woman in construction, I had some hurdles – I remember one time there was a guy standing in front of my chair screaming at me because he was worried I was there to take his job. I took that as a compliment. I never wanted his job, but I was there to make an impact.

I have learned a lot along the way – but mostly that good strategy takes time to develop and nurture – and if you spend the time planning and following that plan – chances are your goals will come to fruition.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live in San Diego so the best thing you can do here is enjoy the weather! Visit the beaches of La Jolla, Carlsbad, and Del Mar! We have some amazing golf here and you have to stop into Gas Lamp for some incredible food and dining experiences.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My shoutout is to my husband, Jack Crocker. He was always the visionary person between the two of us, and I was his support. Today our roles have switched and I couldn’t be more appreciative of his support.
